Give someone a rose, and the hand has a lingering fragrance. The touching story of Shen Jianjia, a veteran of Turks County in Xinjiang who has worked hard for more than 30 years to help and support 175 poor students, has gone out of his hometown and spread throughout the country.
The reputation of helping others is spread everywhere, and the people around them can't help but give a thumbs up and praise, but for Shen Jianjia, no matter how great the honor, the days are still the same as usual. "The only thing I want to do is to think of Fa'er to take good care of the children and accompany them through the most important difficult years of their lives." Just like his childhood, a beam of light shone on him. Later, he also wanted to become the person who lit the lamp.
Shen Jianjia is the deputy director of the Turks County Working Committee for Caring for the Next Generation, in addition, he is also a veteran, who has been unloading his military uniform for 30 years, but his speech and demeanor still maintain the unique ability and cheerfulness of a soldier.
Over the years, Shen Jianjia has always maintained a public welfare heart. As early as during his service in the army, he often used his spare time to go to the resident nursing home and social welfare institute to learn Lei Feng's good deeds and take care of the elderly with limited mobility.

When he was two years old, Shen Jianjia came to Turks County with his parents, and there were 6 brothers and sisters in the family, and the life of a large family was very difficult, and the neighbors often reached out to his family.
"Neighbors, you brought a bowl of rice, I delivered a bag of grains, and supported our family through those difficult days, when I vowed to be a person who could help others when I grew up." 」 Shen Jianjia, who was surrounded by warmth when he was a child, secretly made up his mind.
Most of the neighbors who had helped him are gone, but he wants to pass on this love forever, so that more children can get help and feel the warmth and love he has felt.

In 1982, after Shen Jianjia retired from the army, he learned by chance that the homes of 6 Kazakh students, including Saylau of the Kushtai Community Animal Husbandry Camp of the 78th Regiment of the Fourth Division of the Fourth Division, were more than 60 kilometers away from the county seat, had no relatives in the county seat, and were reluctant to rent a house, so going to school became a big problem.
Shen Jianjia and his wife discussed that they wanted to take the 6 children to their home and provide free food and accommodation so that they could go to school.
The wife was opposed at the beginning, the days were not very generous, adding 6 mouths to eat, the pressure of life was too great, not to mention that there were 6 more people living in the family, crowded, it was really inconvenient.
Shen Jianjia pulled his wife to talk every day, and after being worn for a long time, his wife gradually relaxed her heart. More than 30 years have passed, and the couple has successively sponsored 175 poor students.

"Some of them have been admitted to Beijing Jiaotong University, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications... When it comes to the winter and summer vacations, they will come to me to report, ask around whether there is anything they need to help do, and use the holiday to try their best to help the volunteer tutoring students and sisters..." Speaking of the children who have been admitted to college, Shen Jianjia is like a family treasure, and his face is irrepressible happiness.
Today, the two "Loving Brother Teams" spontaneously formed by the sponsored children have become a big family of more than 30 members, specially using the winter and summer to help other students and sisters, and to illuminate more people with the love and care they received from "Daddy" Shen Jianjia.
Shen Jianjia's kindness was known to more and more people, and neighbors around him began to support him. He incarnated as an image ambassador and went to schools, communities, and residents' homes to convey positive energy in terms of helping others, loving public welfare, and family harmony.
