He was successively responsible for investigating and handling a number of special cases related to rebel organizations in the local "Cultural Revolution", and the case of shooting and killing people in martial arts. Cooperated with the investigation and handling of a small number of internal employees during the chaotic period of stealing the items on the car.
At the same time, he also successively took charge of the selection and political examination of the children of two staff members of his unit, and successfully joined the army and became pilots.
Accept the task. In the early 1980s, the higher-level units in the provincial city seconded me, who was still working in a worker's post, to the party committee office to help me. Task, responsible for the review of old historical cases.
There is no specific guidance, no case reference. When the relevant departments at a higher level forward transferred the relevant principles and policy documents of the central authorities and the scattered historical archives of the original personnel of the unit that needed to be reviewed, I began to study, sort out and formulate work plans.
Reviewing old historical cases, we have successively investigated and handled more than a dozen cases of various types. For this reason, it has also almost run all over the four directions of the country, east, west, south, north and south.
At that time, the conditions for external transfer work were extremely difficult, which was unimaginable to many people now.
If it is an external transfer to Beijing or Shanghai, the introduction letter must be signed and forwarded by the relevant departments of the provincial party committee.

Due to low wages and low travel expenses, I remember once being transferred to a place in northern Jiangsu, and the highest record of the cost of each meal of my assistant companions was nine cents. My companion was an old comrade who had been transferred to the security section of the unit as a company instructor, and he was much older than me. Later, I couldn't stand it anymore, so I bought a bowl of vegetarian noodles to eat, one dime and one point. Hey, there is salty and green onion flavor, but it is delicious!
Accommodation, on the one hand, the reimbursement of travel expenses is a strict standard, on the other hand, there were too few hotels and inns in various places at that time. Well, in Beijing I stayed in the basement of the hotel. In Shanghai, I used to stay in the bathroom during the day and become a hotel at night, and the bed was the kind of recliner recliner used for rest after taking a shower. In Inner Mongolia, Ningxia and other places, I have lived in hotels that roll naked into the quilt tube so that lice do not climb onto the clothes.
If this work has left a great impression on my mind, it is because it is both sacred and important and very difficult; Then, this person is deeply imprinted in my heart, and there are more prominent reasons for it.

I was surprised and took this case seriously. Of course, it cannot be said that important leaders of the party and the state are involved and do not dare to touch them.
Therefore, he rushed to Miluo (Xiangyin) County, went to Shihezi, Ningxia, and visited the rural mountains of Jiujiang County and Xiushui County. Along with other cases, my assistants and I worked intensively on internal and external investigations. The final conclusion must be unmistakable and stand the test of history.
During the review process, the person being reviewed will generally wait patiently for the result with hope. But Zuo xx sent us a letter with harshly worded accusations. At first glance, I felt a little angry, thinking that I was really doing it very seriously and tightly, and I was so groundlessly reprimanding us. However, if you think about it, you don't have to worry about it. So I carefully wrote a reply letter, introduced and explained the situation, and then said, "You made groundless accusations against us without understanding the truth." We consider this to be inappropriate. I hope you..." I thought it would be okay to suppress the fire and say that it was peaceful. Who knows that my party secretary simply changed this sentence. Change it to "You made groundless accusations against us without understanding the real situation, and we think the mood is understandable." Please..." Three people will go along, and there will be my teacher." This sentence is a teacher that I will never forget.
After careful and careful investigation, we met with Zuo xx in due course and listened to his complaint in person. It turned out that his so-called status as a quartermaster was because when the Kuomintang army was defeated and retreated, one of his fellow officers in the Kuomintang army issued him a dispatch (that is, a quartermaster card for captains). The intention was that when he encountered a defeated deserter of the Kuomintang, he could take it out to avoid the deserters from finding trouble. In our investigation, we really cannot find any other corroboration to prove that he is really a Kuomintang officer.
As for him carrying a gun to the mountains as a bandit, it was he who loved to hunt, carried a shotgun, and often ran to the mountains to hunt. In short, through contact, I also know that his personality is somewhat unstable and likes to be flamboyant. In addition to a report on this point, "According to the whistle-blowing of some local revolutionary masses, Zuo xx had been ... When the bandits...", there is no other corroboration.
At this point, it can be determined that this is an unjust, false and wrongly decided case.
Looking back at the history of 50 to 53 years, we can see that at that time, the republic had just been established, and the remnants of the Kuomintang were scattered and brave, secret agents and bandits were everywhere. At this time, it is urgent to consolidate political power and stabilize the situation. To this end, the COMMUNIST Party of China led the three major movements of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, land reform, and suppression of counter-revolution. In the case of the initial establishment of the regime and the need for everything to be done, it is not difficult to understand that some deviations have occurred.
Therefore, after I wrote the investigation report, I met with Zuo xx again to discuss the opinions on the handling of the aftermath.
At this time, Zuo xx's mood was much better, and sometimes he talked about his previous decades of experience. He told me that when he was just escorted to shihezi labor camp in Ningxia, including the correctional cadres, the average amount was only two or two meters per person per day.
