So far, the annual scheduled engineering tasks of the detachment have all been successfully completed.

The construction task is located near the "Blue Line" (the ceasefire line temporarily agreed upon by Lebanon and Israel) on the Lebanese-Israeli border, and the original fortifications on both sides of the camp gate have been seriously damaged by long-term high temperature exposure and rain, losing their due defense functions, and there are major safety risks. In order to protect the safety of peacekeeping friendly personnel and property, the construction of new protective fortifications is imminent. After receiving the task, the detachment immediately dispatched professional construction forces to the Nepalese camp to carry out construction work after on-site survey and formulation of the plan.

The construction area of peacekeeping officers and soldiers is very small, and the mechanical operator needs to cooperate with the deputy when loading operations. Some construction areas are extremely uneven, and construction machinery needs to work on a slope of nearly 30 degrees, with a high risk factor, which is also a great test for the refined operation ability of the operator.

Lu Yongjie, the technical backbone of the construction task, said: "We have transformed the stone cage walls on both sides of the camp entrance from the original '1+1' mode to the '2+1' mode, and added a snake-belly type barbed wire fence above the fortifications, which effectively enhanced the defense capability of the gate of the peacekeeping friendly army camp." ”

After nearly a month of continuous struggle, the detachment completed the construction task one week ahead of schedule, building a solid and reliable protective barrier for the peacekeeping friendly forces. It is understood that since the detachment was deployed to the Lebanon mission area in August last year, it has given full play to the advantages of professional skills and has completed 67 engineering tasks such as road drainage system repair, air defense bunker construction, and standard fence construction.
