The GLM software for the ZENI SAM Series speakers has now been updated to version 4.2 to build monitoring systems in different formats from stereo to immersive sound in a more efficient and cost-effective way. What is GLM? GLM (Genelec Loudspeaker Manager) is an advanced, flexible room acoustic calibration and monitoring management tool for all Smart Active Monitoring monitors. Easier subwoofer configuration and management
For more and more users opting for immersive monitoring systems, the GLM 4.2 is adept at calibrating large or compact monitoring systems up to 50 cm. The addition of the full-range speaker grouping function allows the same group of speakers to be symmetrically calibrated to make it highly consistent after calibration. The newly upgraded 9301B AES/EBU multi-channel interface makes subwoofer configuration more convenient for immersive monitoring systems. GLM can manage and calibrate up to 80 loudspeakers

Zeni's GLM Calibration Management Suite automatically discovers all the speakers in the system, "hears" the working conditions of each speaker, discovers the time difference, level difference between them, and calculates and analyzes the sound staining of the room. Using GLM's calibration function, the level difference and time difference between channels can be completely eliminated, and room acoustic staining can be effectively slowed down or even eliminated. How many loudspeakers can GLM manage and calibrate? Over 80 speakers can be managed and calibrated in the same monitoring system, allowing you to build stereo, surround, immersive, and experimental systems. It only takes a few minutes to complete a calibration, and the more speakers in the system, the more time and effort it takes to measure and calibrate the delay and level relationship between them, and optimize the frequency response of the speakers one by one, and GLM can do this for you automatically.
