At the age of 8, Cao Shengkang, who was born in the countryside of Huaibei, Anhui Province, was hit by a speeding tractor and seriously injured. After the operation, his vision gradually declined.
As time passed, Cao Shengkang's eyesight became worse and worse, and a few years later, he was completely blind.
"It felt like the whole world had been lost." Cao Shengkang said that he had broken down several times and ran away from home.

Just when he was full of expectations for the future, a wrong investment caused him to ruin his family, and his life once again fell to the bottom. Persuaded by his friends, he traveled to Tibet.
