In the final at Morning Sun Stadium, John Higgins beat Stuart Bingham 3-2 to win the 2022 Snooker Invitational Champions League titled by Betvík, winning more than £20,000 in championship prize money while also locking up places for the 2022 Invitational Tournament.

Higgins played well in Wednesday's tournament to win the seventh group and continued that in the finals, individually winning the tournament for the third time. It was the Scotsman's first title trophy of the season, after finishing runners-up in the finals of all four other races.
Bingham beat Liang Wenbo in the semi-finals. After Liang Wenbo was sent off for being late for 1 set, the match started in an unusual way. Bingham took a 1-0 lead and then quickly hit a single shot of 76 points to take a 2-0 lead. Liang Wenbo shot a single 91 and 50 points to fight back, forcing the game into a decider, but Bingham scored a single 65 points to win 3-2.
In another semi-final, Higgins started 2-0 behind Yan Bingtao, but he then responded with a single shot of 56 and 76 points to tie the score to 2-2, and then won in the decider.
Coming to the final, a single score of 50 and 82 points gave Higgins a 2-0 lead, and then Bingham not to be outdone, scored 110 points in the third set to tie the score at 2-2.
