With 1.4 million hectares, Spain is the largest grape grower in the world, and many winemaking countries even buy grapes from them. However, the harsh growing environment and relatively extensive planting, and the use of compound farming, the planting of other fruit trees in the garden at the same time, coupled with the farmer's outdated cultivation technology, poor quality management and other factors, so that its wine production only accounts for the world's third, ranking after Italy and France. Spain has more than 600 grape varieties, mostly white. In recent years, Spain has made great strides in winemaking technology and has been recognized internationally.

Spain produces various types of wines, such as red, white and rosé wines, as well as some very expensive sparkling wines; Most of these are exported in bulk, and some wines are usually used as a seasoning to serve other liquors or sold locally. Among them, Sheery (a type of belligerent) is internationally famous and can be called a "national treasure" wine.

As of 2011, Spain has a total of 66 Legal Wine Regions (DO) and two DOCa regions, which produce a wide range of wine styles, including not only white, red and rosé, but also sparkling and belle.

Rioja appellation

Spain has a complete set of regulations to regulate the quality of wine. There are more than 50 concessions in Spain, namely DO (Denominaciones de Origen). Particularly outstanding areas are called DOCa (Denominaciones de Origen Calificada), the first to be listed as a DOCa appellation is the Rioja appellation, and the other is Priorat in Catalonia. The more common induction is Vinodela Tierra, which is equivalent to the French VendéPays. The most basic table wine is VineMesa. Behind each bottle of wine from a concessionaire must be indicated the age of the winery, with four different rules.

Sin Crianza, or VinoJoven, which directly translates to "young wine," means that the wine "may" not have been aged.

Crianza is a wine kept in the winery for two years, of which six months are aged in small wooden barrels. The shelf life of white wine and rose red is reduced to one year.

Reserva is brewed three years after it is made, with at least one year spent in barrels and the rest in bottles. The time of white wine and rose red in the factory is reduced to two years, and the years in wooden barrels are halved.

GranReaerva is a five-year-old wine, three of which are aged in wooden barrels, two years in bottles, and vice versa. Baijiu and rose red in the factory time is reduced to four years, and six months are spent in wooden barrels.

In recent years, the development of Qingtian imported wine industry is in full swing, its imported wines based on Spain, France, Italy and other old world wines, whether it is price or quality, have a strong competitiveness in the domestic wine industry, Qingtian County enterprises use in-depth cooperation with foreign wineries, domestic agents and other forms of operation, Qingtian wine original bottle imports, European straight hair quality image is gradually deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.
