The starling (pronounced liáng) bird (scientific name Sturnus cineraceus) belongs to the family Starlings, with a body mostly gray-black, a gray-brown upperpart, and white tail coverts; The cheeks and ear cover feathers are white, like a small white face. In recent years, every spring, gray starlings have flown to the neighborhood where I live and have children. Here are a few photographs of them foraging.
