At first, they seized the goods of public and private boats, killed the rich and the poor, and repeatedly defeated the Sui army to encircle and suppress them, and the team grew to more than 10,000 people. Until later, Li Mi participated in the rebellion of Yang Xuangan (Yang Su's son), and after being defeated, he defected to Wagangzhai and was taken in by Zhai Rang, along with Li Mi was his confidant Wang Bodang, after Li Mi came, Zhai Rang took Li Mi's advice, occupied the Central Plains, and captured Luokou Dacang, and WagangZhai achieved unprecedented development.
The Sui Emperor sent the general Zhang Sutuo to lead his elite to attack Zhai Rang. Zhang's subordinates included Qin Qiong, Cheng Zhijie (Cheng Zhijie), Luo Shixin, etc., Zhai Rang and Li Mi, together with the generals Xu Shixun and Wang Bodang, who surrounded the Sui army, and Zhang Sutuo was finally killed in battle. Qin Qiong led the remnants of the Sui army to attach themselves to Pei Renji, who was guarding the Tiger Prison. Later, Pei Renji cast Wagang, and Qin Qiong and Cheng Yaojin joined Wagang together.
The Sui Emperor sent his confidant Wang Shichong to Luoyang to suppress the Wagang army, and was finally defeated by Li Mi, who was greatly encouraged in the Wagang army. Zhai Rang finally gave way to Li Mi. A mountain does not tolerate two tigers, and a fire breaks out in Wagang, and Li Mi kills Zhai Rang. He appeased Shan Xiongxin and Xu Maogong and restored stability to Wagang.
After the Wagang army defeated Yuwen and was seriously injured. Li Mi became proud and conceited, and Wang Shichong took the opportunity to launch a surprise attack, breaking Li Mi. Li Mi defected to Li Yuan and was eventually killed along with Wang Bodang, Shan Xiongxin defected to Wang Shichong, Qin Qiong and Cheng Yaojin temporarily defected to Wang Shichong after being captured, and Xu Maogong defected to Tang after staying briefly at Dou Jiande.
Later, Qin Qiong and Cheng Yaojin surrendered to Tang, Shan Xiongxin wanted to kill the King of Qin at Luoyang, Xu Maogong appeared to stop Shan Xiongxin, and Shan Xiongxin retreated, and was defeated and killed.
Among the twenty-four ministers of Ling Yan Pavilion, those from WagangZhai actually occupied five seats. There are more than 20 Wagang generals who have left their names in the history.
