Soon, the War of Resistance ended, and Chiang Kai-shek launched a civil war in an attempt to completely eliminate our Party in order to continue to unite imperialism and engage in dictatorship in China. But his plot was almost completely foiled in just three years.

In July 1948, our army was attacking Jinan, and although the Kuomintang knew that it was invincible, it still resisted wildly, causing great casualties to the soldiers of our army.
At this time, under the liaison of Yang Hu in the middle, Wang Yimin, special envoy of Wu Huawen, commander of the Kuomintang 96th Army, found Wu Kejian, the secret representative of our party, to contact the uprising. Wang Yimin insisted on waiting for the 96th Army to receive new guns and ammunition before revolting, which would undoubtedly delay the liberation process of Jinan.
At this time, Yang Hu asked him to bring a message to Wu Huawen: The eldest husband is a good man who leads the uprising! Soon after Wu Huawen heard this, he led more than 20,000 people of the 96th Army to revolt at the Jinan airport, and our army broke through after his uprising and took Jinan a few days later. This was also the first time that our army captured the fortified city where the Kuomintang was heavily garrisoned, and the defeat of the Kuomintang became unstoppable from then on.
Nine months later, after the liberation of Nanjing, Chiang Kai-shek jumped off the wall and prepared to put to death the democrats he had previously captured and the members of our Party when he fled the mainland. In the face of Chiang Kai-shek's madness, Chairman Mao ordered that it was necessary to rescue people before the Kuomintang.
At this time, Wu Kejian, an underground party member of our party in Shanghai, contacted Yang Hu again, and under his matchmaking, Yang Hu quickly agreed to help our party rescue Zhang Lan, a democrat detained by the Kuomintang in Shanghai. On May 24, 1949, Zhang Lan was rescued.
After Chiang Kai-shek learned of this news, he angrily ordered on the way to escape: a reward of 30,000 silver dollars was offered, and Yang Hu's head was asked. However, soon after the order was issued, Yang Hu was transferred to Beijing by our party to participate in the founding ceremony of new China. And his life has officially opened the third stage.
On October 1, 1949, the founding ceremony of the new China was held on the upper floor of Tiananmen Square, and Yang Hu also stood in the crowd watching the ceremony, which was the highlight of his life for him.

He told Premier Zhou that he would be a member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and should participate in the administration and discussion of state affairs. In the face of this unwilling yang hu, Premier Zhou said to him very gently: "We know that Mr. Yang did some work during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the War of Liberation, but considering the historical impact caused by the 'April 12' coup d'état and the 'Qing Party' in Shanghai, it is best not to show his face for the time being." ”
Premier Zhou's words were a warning to Yang Hu that showing his face too much might put himself in a situation of being besieged by others, which was a good intention. But to Yang Hu's ears, this was a disguised rejection of his request.

He began to spread gossip in society and attack the policies of the new China. He also began to quietly listen to the voice of america's broadcasts against China, preparing to find a channel for himself to contact foreign forces, and wanted to continue to choose good birds to live in.
But he didn't find the opportunity until 1958. At that time, Chiang Kai-shek began to advocate a counter-offensive on the mainland, and Yang Hu's eldest son Yang Anguo also returned from Taiwan to see him in the interior, which made Yang Hu, whose ambitions were immortal, see the opportunity.
