Teaches you how and when to use the No. 3 wooden pole vs. the No. 3 mixed pole (Anna. Nordquist)

Some players see fairway clubs and mixed clubs as the first choice for safe kick-offs or par-5 holes, but I don't agree with that, they're great offensive tools in my eyes. On the last hole of the 2009 LPGA Championship, I attacked the left rear flagpole of the green from 195 yards out. I used the 21-degree mixed-race bar to send the ball three feet from the mouth of the hole, and then pushed the ball into the hole to catch the bird to win the first big game. I hit the prettiest goal on the 18th hole of par-5 in the final round of the ANA Inspiration golf tournament in April with a 15-degree fairway club (equivalent to a no. 3 stick). I attacked the island green from 200 yards, caught the bird with two thrusts, and almost reached the extended round. The trade-off between the two is the consideration of distance. The limit flight distance of my hybrid pole is 195 yards, and the size 3 pole starts at 210 yards. But the current situation is also important. Here's my No. 3 and No. 3 Mixed Club swing tips:

No. 3 wooden swing (keep centered and push off the ground)

I am over 180 cm tall and have long hands and feet, so I want to be able to use my core muscles to control the swing and avoid the separation of my arms and legs from my body. It all starts with the shot preparation setting, where I set the stand slightly wider than the shoulders and the ball position two inches inside the front heel to set the steeper angle of the shot. With your feet slightly on the left side of the target, swing slightly from the outside in to play a small right curling ball.

I turned the upper bar on my shoulder, keeping my upper arm close to my body, centering my body, and shifting my center of gravity to the inside of my right foot. Since I struggle not to let my arm go too far away from my body (2), the pole angle position at the apex of the upper bar is usually above the horizontal line.

This smooth top-bar apex allows me to swing the ball downwards with force, and I usually try to hit the farthest distance with the fairway club, but I know that clicking on the center of the club is just as important as swinging at extreme speed. I feel like I'm doing it from the bottom up, using my back foot to push off the ground to create a swing, like many of Sweden's skiers.

The rest of the down-bar action will naturally unfold. I would touch the ball at a horizontal angle, hit just a little or no grass marks at all, and finally finish smoothly. The swing is powerful and powerful, but never out of control.

使用的‬时机:

(The ball position is good.)

(There aren't many barriers around the greens.)

(Hitting the ball against the wind.)

(Be prepared to let go and grab it.)

(There is plenty of scrolling space.)

Mixed bar no. 3 swing (shorten the swing and hit the ball down)

Many golfers don't know whether the mixed club swing should be tough or wooden. Personally, I think it's more hardcore because it's supposed to hit the ball downwards, not horizontally. However, since I use the No. 3 mixed club, the swing is not as tall and straight as the shorter mixed pole.

The width of the stand is about the same as the no. 3 stick, but the ball is slightly moved back to facilitate a downward shot, and I also shorten the distance between my feet and the ball, making the swing more straight. Feet and legs form a stable lower plate, especially for bunker shots. The swing is also dominated by the shoulders and core muscles.

Due to the steep swing angle of the mixed bar, the upper bar is also shorter, and the most important thing is to avoid excessive force. I would never use more than 80% of my strength. Swinging harder doesn't hit farther distances, so I'm all swinging normally, keeping a fixed spinal angle through the batting area.

Finally, I'll smoothly accelerate my swing and hit the ball, only a little grass mark (or sand mark), be sure to hit the ball first, and then hit the grass mark.

使用的‬时机:

(Long grassy areas, bunkers, or uneven ball positions.)

(Must fly over the obstacle zone.)

(Hit the ball downwind.)

(Must land gently.)

(The swing is in poor condition and must be made to the high fault tolerance of the mixed club.)
