42 Burmese laborers were arrested for illegally entering Thailand

At around 3 a.m. on June 23, police in Lai Hing Province, Thailand, conducted joint patrols with the garrison and found 42 illegal entrants into Burma, including 29 men and 13 women, in a mud pit in a wood. When they were discovered, all the Burmese were frightened, but no one escaped, and most of the Burmese were exhausted and hungry, so they had to be obediently arrested. According to one of them, they set out from Myanmar and walked into Thailand via a river on the Thai-Myanmar border and waited at the junction point for the guide to take them to their agreed destination, but were abandoned here by the guide, and each of them had to pay 20,000 baht to the guide before leaving. At present, the Thai police have properly placed the batch of Burmese laborers, and will carry out further investigation and disposal in accordance with the law.
