(1) The aerial part of Lara vine contains alkaloids: pro-opioidine, halmine, racemic duckbill ketone alkali, L-1-hydroxy-2,3-dehydrodeoxycophoptine. It also contains cycloenters: crystal lan glycosides, peach leaf coral glycosides, caryosides. Also contains flavonoids: ruevoside, quercetin galactosin; Organic acid components: chlorogenic acid, succinic acid and sodium lactate; Coumarin ingredients: scopolamine; Tannins, anthraquinones, etc. The fruit contains maltamine, galicaric acid, luteolin, mannitol, inositol, wax alcohol, sitosterol.

2. Pharmacology:
(1) Blood pressure: Lara vine (alcohol) extract can reduce blood pressure without slowing down the heart rate, and it can be effective for dogs with intravenous injection of 1-1.5g (raw drug), and no toxicity has been seen. Caryophyllum has the effect of lowering blood pressure in rabbits. Porcine glycol extract 1-1.5g (raw drug) intravenous injection, can reduce blood pressure in dogs.
(2) Antibacterial effect: 100% decoction with flat paper method, which has an inhibitory effect on Staphylococcus aureus, E. coli, Shigella dysentery and so on.
(3) Blood: Alcohol extract is given oral or intraperitoneal injection of 2.2g/kg daily for 6 consecutive days, which has an inhibitory effect on mouse leukemia L615, and the inhibition rate is 28.5%.
