After friendly consultation, the current technical director of the Chinese Football Association, Chriss van Puvelde, will not renew his contract with the Chinese Football Association for personal reasons and will return to Belgium on June 20. Here, I sincerely thank Chriss for his dedication to Chinese football in the past three and a half years, and also wish this friend who has walked side by side with Chinese football all the best in his future life and work!
Chris is a top football talent in international football, with UEFA professional coach qualifications, more than 150 European games (Europa League, Champions League, EuroPa League) coaching and participation experience, has served as technical director of the Belgian Football Association, and served on the UEFA Technical Development Committee.
During his tenure as technical director of the Chinese Football Association, Chriss mainly provided design coordination and technical support for the development of football technology in mainland China, international technical exchanges and cooperation, training of coaches and professionals, and training of young talents.
In September 2019, Chrissy attended the Chinese Football Association High-end Coach summit in Shanghai to introduce the "Red Map Plan" to the participants.
In terms of promoting technological development, Chriss led the organization of expert seminars and field research, completed the design of the "Red Map Plan" according to the needs of mainland football technology development, clarified the overall technical and tactical style of Chinese football, and repeatedly went to member associations to give lectures; He also led the creation of the "Football Deduction Method" oriented to the "Basic Principles of Football", and has now completed the framework design of the database of football technology and basic principles, subdividing the technical and tactical links in football matches, and listing the corresponding basic principles one by one; Chriss has a wealth of top football resources in UEFA and FIFA, he led the design of the "FIFA-Chinese Football Association Joint Action Plan" technology development related content and promoted the implementation, and also coordinated and promoted the FIFA-Chinese Football Association coaching instructor training project and the Chinese Football Association coach lecturer participation in the UEFA special training program.
In January 2020, Chriss participated in the FIFA-Chinese Football Association Coach Instructor Training Course in Chengdu.
In terms of coaching and professional training, Chriss assisted the Chinese Football Association in passing the AFC's assessment of the Coach convention and became a professional member of the AFC Coach Convention; He is deeply involved in the design and updating of the training courses for coaches and goalkeepers of all levels of the Chinese Football Association; He designed and led the Chinese Football Association Scouting Training System and Curriculum, and carried out Scouting Instructor Training; In addition, he has also participated in the coach exchange and learning activities organized by the Men's Football Youth Training Department, the Women's Football Department and the National Football Development Key Cities Office as a lecturer for many times.
