Daily necessities as a daily necessities, its functionality in the relative environment has been as amplified as possible, in the redesign is often difficult to have greater innovation and change, but sometimes may be able to change the angle, change another media material, aesthetic awareness, may be able to bring me a different experience ~

High-specification cardboard box

CARTON 2.0, a cardboard box high enough to hold water.

"CARTON 2.0" uses special corrugated cardboard for transporting fishery products and refrigerated cargo, creating an archive box that is easy to use in everyday life. The carton has been updated to such a high specification that although it is cardboard, due to its special structure, it can be moisture-proof, it can also keep low temperatures, and it can also maintain water. It can be used to store important documents and clothes, keep food cool, and serve as laundry boxes, flower pot boxes, and many other situations in daily life that are beyond routine use.

CARTON 2.0 does not have any adhesive to make the box, the body and lid are done by folding one cardboard per fold. It has a structure without gaps, and it does not leak even if it contains water. * If there are small pinholes on the surface, it may penetrate gradually. It is not permanently waterproof.

Minute mint

A minute and a half to make remote work look new!

Minute mint, a "sweet way to measure time," is a mint tablet designed to dissolve within the time indicated on the package. It's a new type of "time snack" that's perfect for taking a short break during work or needing a little relief from candy.

Of course, this is just a natural melting interval. As for how long it melts depends on how you lick it. If you chew, it will melt faster and disappear.

Humidifying paper

Humidifying paper has the function of slowly sucking up and evaporating water, and depending on the environment in which it is used, the shape and size of KASHITSU SHIKI has a humidification effect that is about 5 times the natural evaporation of a cup of water.

A design that can be enjoyed as interior decoration

Very easy to use. Simply stand in a container filled with water to naturally moisturize the surrounding area. The design of the imitation tree can be enjoyed as interior decoration, and several are displayed side by side. Humidification is achieved by evaporation of water, so if you want to enhance the humidification effect, it is recommended to place it in a shallow container that can firmly expose the trees.

If aromatic oil is added, it can also be used as a diffuser.

It is small, lightweight, and does not require a power supply, so it can be used anywhere there is water and containers. Easy to install in tight spaces such as side tables in the bedroom or desks in the office, and easy to move. If you put sesame oil in water, you can use it as an incense diffuser, which can be used all year round.

Pencil shavings

After sharpening the pencil, the pencil shavings take on an amazingly beautiful shape. They curl up on a circular crown that looks like the petals of a flower. Designers recreate this amazing impression in a more crystalline way with layers of paper, so that when a pencil-shaped cylindrical paper roll is sharpened, a flower will blossom. Biotope GA-FS paper is printed with a gradient color, the paste is applied to the surface, wrapped around the core, forming a pencil shape, and then shaved. These "pencil" shavings are only about 15 mm to 40 mm in diameter, but a closer look reveals a single shaving made from flakes of multi-layered paper. The importance of each sheet of paper can be felt from the cross-section and printed side that show the original color of the paper.

Every paper flower will bloom quietly on your desk. Depending on how you sharpen it, shavings can be thick and heavy, or thin enough to be almost transparent, so you can't make the same flower twice. Once you've created one, you'll definitely try again.

Indoor greening system

In offices and commercial medical facilities that require efficient use of space, an ordinary flowerpot that occupies as much floor space as the number of plants is a big problem. Therefore, the designer designed a pot that resembles a building block. By "stacking" instead of "placing", you can effectively green the limited space. In addition, because the element body is designed to be of the same size in vertical and horizontal, it can be freely stacked according to the space, can be installed as a partition or arbitrarily created a streamline, and the layout is flexibly created and generated in the space.

Greening is inseparable from careful care, but labor is often a big obstacle. Especially in public places, it is difficult to determine the care of all plants. Therefore, the design is intended to incorporate automatic irrigation systems. Like the building blocks, the unit body is designed to be of the same longitudinal and transverse dimensions, allowing efficient arrangement and installation of waterways even after free combination. This has led to an indoor greening system that simply adds water to the tank regularly, eliminating the hassle of daily watering.

waterscape

"Waterscape" is a project that considers the environment in which aquatic organisms exist under underwater conditions such as "floating" and "sinking".

The designers are exploring the possibility of a new underwater landscape different from the so-called aquarium, while imagining the budding of possibilities as prototypes.

Beneath the surface of the water is a unique environment that emits energy that is completely opposite to the energy that is surrounded by air.

For example, placed in mid-air, gravel and aquatic weeds will inevitably fall to the ground in an instant, but placed in the water, the rubble will slowly sink to the bottom of the water, and the aquatic weeds will slowly rise to the surface. In addition, due to the relative action of gravity and buoyancy, delicate structures that are prone to damage on land due to their own weight can remain stable.

The interaction between gravity and buoyancy is thus consciously controlled, and we strive to explore the ecology of aquatic organisms from scratch. These observations were actually realized and translated into water feature projects.

Paper torch

Nendo's Paper Torch, a flexible flashlight designed for AGIC+TAKEO. It is a unique flashlight that uses AgIC technology to print electronic circuit boards onto paper, film or cloth using silver particle ink. The paper used here is Takeo's YUPO paper, the same paper used in the election ballot. The quality of the paper allows the ink to stay evenly on a smooth surface to ensure that the ink and paper can be rounded with minimal force and are less likely to curl. Even if it is made of paper, this flash is still a reliable light source in most cases. The paper is waterproof, abrasion resistant and suitable for industrial applications.

The paper is printed with a plaid pattern, nendo places circuits on both sides of it, with two coin cell batteries and 7 LEDs glued to the conductive adhesive. Depending on how tight the roll is, the resistance varies depending on the path length of each LED. The longer the distance, the greater the resistance, which means that the light dims when you loosen the paper roll, and brightens when you roll the paper tighter.

It can also be used as a table lamp when you pair a paper flashlight with a bracket ring or with a ceiling lamp for the right device. There are many possible applications for this lamp, you just need to be creative.

Jellyfish umbrella

The designers simulated an umbrella of a jellyfish floating gracefully in water.

Whether it is the shape, transparency, gradient color of the umbrella, or the delicate pattern on the surface of the umbrella, they all vividly shape the appearance of jellyfish, and its design goal is to make the user feel like a jellyfish in the rain, "the concept of an umbrella imagined by the appearance of a jellyfish has a long history, but it has never been so similar to the real jellyfish", the brand described it, in the aquarium keeper according to the ecological principle, and the details of the umbrella, completed the sea moon jellyfish, Three jellyfish umbrellas inspired by Akatsuki jellyfish and pearl jellyfish.

Jellyfish umbrellas have a beautiful transparent gradient tone, with a soft curved umbrella silhouette, showing a gentle texture like water, and under the illumination of light and shadow, the pattern printed on the top of the umbrella will also produce a beautiful shadow.
