In the evening, his grandfather Hoshioka recognized it as a great thing and asked Zeng Guofan to draw up a charter for the clan to abide by. It was night, and Zeng Guofan drew up a four-hundred-word grain donation charter.

"(April) On the tenth day of the first month, the Songpo Ancestral Hall did not have a congratulatory ceremony, and the year before, my father sent a plaque to the temple, and Yi Yan sent money to the family to congratulate him, and then reneged on his promise. Now he also said that the congratulations would be sent in August, and that he would sweep the grave the day before yesterday, but it was unreasonable, and Yu Sheng was angry, and the people in the temple were very ashamed."

On April 12, Zeng Yuping and the father and son of the Guofan specifically talked about the matter of the Xu Youxin Clan. He also said many things that were urgent and righteous. Zeng Guofan was deeply inspired, so he decided to take advantage of his father's residence to advocate the cultivation of the "Zeng Clan Genealogy" as a Shu Jishi of the Hanlin Academy, and to build the Zeng Clan Ancestral Hall!

If you carefully study the diary of the Complete Works of Zeng Guofan, you can find many records of participating in the shrine, sweeping tombs, and visiting the people's people in many places in his diary in April of the nineteenth year of Daoguang and after that. Zeng Guofan belonged to the action faction, and once the plan was formulated, it was quickly put into practice personally. For most of the nineteenth year of Daoguang, Zeng Guofan was basically busy preparing for the two major events of silver two and repairing trees in the capital, so he also went to Hengyang, Shaoyang, Wugang, Longhui, Xinhua, Lantian, Xiangxiang, Ningxiang and other Zeng clan residences to visit, while transferring the clan, he also earned some silver to subsidize the travel expenses and household expenses to Beijing.

His formal all-out efforts for the cultivation of the spectrum should strictly begin on June 24, 1919. Although he had previously visited Xiangnan in Xiangzhong for several months, there were many chores such as making friends and financial management, such as "being Zhu Liang Ertian at Zimen Bridge and Zhu Yaojie", Zeng Guofan indignantly "taking Yongfeng branch judicial ban after Chenhou" and so on. As a result, Zeng Guofan's advocacy of overhauling the Zeng clan tree began to enter the stage of full mobilization. The next day, he "wrote a book with Zeng Chuanqiu, Zeng Xiliu, and Zeng Daqi." On the second day of the first month of July, he also "sent people to hengyang, Qingquan, and Leiyang" to deliver letters from the rooms of the same sect of the Zeng clan, and "sent people to the places of the various sects in Baoqing to write books and Write with Zeng Yiran." ”

About a month after the launch, Zeng Guofan was a little anxious and could not sit still, "Since arriving home on june 22, until January, I have nothing to do at home, delaying it carelessly, and sincerely playing." Considering that he would soon go to the capital to take up his post, it was not a way to sit at home and wait, so he began his journey on July 22, "from home to Wenjitang", and began a three-month journey to adjust the clan.

After passing through Jiangling, Danjiajing and Niuke Ancestral Ancestral Shrine, on August 12, we arrived at Baoqing Province (Shaoyang City). Here, Zeng Guofan had a great manifestation of friendship with the same sect. On the seventeenth day, he learned that one of the tongs in the Baoqing camp, named Zeng Guozheng, "went to Xiangxiang with his father in Hengyang, his father's hometown, followed his mother to Xiangxiang", and then went to Baoqing, "Yu because of the cultivation of genealogy, traced his source, pitied his loneliness, and was loyal because of the diligence and thriftiness of the religion", so he specially "returned to the two battalions and the governor of Xiezhen", greeted the officials, and hoped that he would pay more attention to this fellow sect.

Five days after the city of Baoqing, Zeng Guofan braved heavy rain to travel to Taohuaping (present-day Longhui County), Wugang, and Gaosha at the mouth of the cave, and finally reached the "Four Capitals of Shaoyang" on the fifth day of September (after verification, the "Four Capitals of Shaoyang" recorded here are actually the Sidu River in the town of Qijiang in present-day Longhui County). On the eighth day of September, he lived in the Ancestral Hall of the Zeng Clan in Woshan Village in Gaopingyu. What was done in Woshan was not recorded in the diary.

In Baoqing Province, Zeng Guofan traveled through Shaoyang County, Fucheng, Wugang Prefecture, Xinhua County (including today's Shaodong County, Shaoyang City, Longhui County, Wugang City, Dongkou County, Xinhua County), and the ancestral shrines of Shaoyang County were Niuke Ancestral Ancestral Ancestral Temple, YanGong Ancestral Hall, Yungong Ancestral Hall, Shuyuan Ancestral Hall, Lugong Ancestral Hall, Wugang Prefecture Garden Ancestral Hall, Xiangkou Ancestral Hall, Gaosha City Zeng Ancestral Hall, Ma'anshi Ancestral Hall, Xinhua County's Woshan Ancestral Hall, Cailian Ancestral Hall, Yangxi Gutang Ancestral Hall, Xinhua City South Gate Ancestral Hall, Ketou Ancestral Hall, and Guanzhuang Ancestral Hall. Then he left the Xinhua Realm and passed through the town of Lantian in Anhua (now part of Lianyuan), entered Xiangxiang Shangli, and went to Yangjiatan to visit Master Liu Yuantang.

In Dongkou County, Gaosha Zeng wrote a couplet: "Water is like a belt, Fengling is like a screen, and all four sides are surrounded by shuqi; Filial piety is in Zhou, loyal subjects are in Han, and Qianqiu is worthy of the sect style. Another inscription is written on the plaque: "Spring Wind Yishui", "Pai Yan Zi Jiang".

The record in the September diary that "from The Twelve Miles of Woshan Mountain to the Ancestral Hall of Cailian Zeng, the road is very rough" is that Zeng Guofan worked tirelessly to go to the Woshan Village Special Association clan in Gaopingyu to promote the cultivation of the family tree!

The focus of Zeng Guofan's trip to Gaopingyu was on the Lotus Ancestral Hall. This ancestral hall belongs to the village of Cailian in Luohong Town, Longhui County. Passing through Woshan Village in Gaoping Town, Longhui County, to Cailian in Luohong Town, the mountain gradually rose, the terraces were strange, and the mountain road was nine curves and eighteen bends, which left zeng Guofan with the impression of "very rugged". However, since Woshan and Cailian have been the settlement of the Zeng clan for hundreds of years, and the Twin Peaks Zeng family has been in the same family for several generations, it is not difficult to understand why Zeng would go to Woshan to take a trip with Cailian.

On the morning of the ninth day of the first month, Zeng Guofan arrived at the Ancestral Hall of the Tsang Clan of Cailian, where he rested for an afternoon and an evening. People have left their names, and geese have left their voices. There is still a legend that Zeng Guofan confronted the boy in the local area. According to a retired old teacher named Zeng Zhaokui, when Zeng Guofan arrived, the Tsang Ancestral Hall of the Cailian Clan was repairing a patio. There was a school hall attached to the temple, and Zeng Guofan saw a schoolboy with a clear eyebrow, smart and well-behaved, ordered him to light a fire and smoke, and joked: "Little brother, can Ru be right?" The schoolboy replied cheerfully, "Yes." Zeng Guofan immediately came out of the upper link: "Light a fire and smoke a shisha, and the water and fire are both good." The schoolboy looked around at the patio being built, and his understanding suddenly opened, and he immediately replied: "Build the patio on the spot, and the heavens and the earth flow together." Zeng Guofan was greatly appreciated and asked his class line, but he did not want to be a school child but grew up to zeng guofan for a generation. Zeng Guofan was ashamed and said: "Please little uncle be kind and dedicated, the name of merit is just around the corner." It is said that the schoolchild's surname was Si Dan, and he was only nine years old at the time.

Zeng Guofan is good at writing couplets, and everywhere he goes, he will leave couplets and other ink treasures to pay, and the Lotus Ancestral Hall cannot be excluded. It is said that Zeng Guofan once wrote a large plaque for the Cailian Ancestral Hall, but unfortunately it was later demolished by the local Cailian Primary School as a large blackboard, and the handwriting on it has long disappeared. The Cailian Ancestral Hall, where Zeng Guofan stayed, now only one of the dilapidated main halls remains, and the rest of the courtyard annexes have been destroyed. After Zeng later became the commander of the Xiang Army, in order to commemorate Zeng Guofan's visit here, his descendants specially wrote three big characters of "Guo Fan Di" on the ancestral hall.

Leaving Cailian Village, Zeng Guofan crossed Gutang via Menggong, entered Xinhua County for a few days, and returned to shuangfeng's hometown at the end of September. At this point, Zeng Guofan's journey of adjusting the clan finally came to an end.
