In 2018, I visited a Guangdong McDonald''s. I ordered a small iced tea. It cost about $3, more than what I would have paid in the US, about $1.00. In 2019, in Fuzhou, my order of two pieces of KFC chicken, cost a little more than what I would have paid back home. A cup of regular charbuck in Shanghai in 2014 cost me $4. more than what I paid in US1.98. I find KFC cheapest in Malaysia, but in Australia, I had to pay extra for ketchup.

Dude, the waiter thought fries was not salty but she changed a new one for u which was so nice LOL Xian is one syllable and xin xian is two.

Man, the waiter thinks the fries are not enough salt, but she gives you a new one, great, haha, fresh (salty) is one syllable, fresh is two syllables.

I think years ago when I was in Hong Kong, they served rice dishes and crispy chicken wings. Very nice. Great to see your videos again. Hope your dad is doing well.

Think this is the McDonald’s near Shenzhen University right? Been there once and the arrangement of tables reminds me. Wish the zero policies would loosen soon

haven’t been Shenzhen for long because really afraid of being stuck there

I think this is a McDonald's near Shenzhen University, I went there once, and the way the table was placed reminded me. I hope that the new crown clearance policy will be relaxed as soon as possible,

I haven't been in Shenzhen for a long time because I'm really scared of being stuck there.

Bubble tea in Micky D, not a bad idea for major cities in North American. Wait, those bubble could be choking hazard, considering some one got a 1M settlement for hot coffee burn way back when and the number of lawyers here, scratch that.

BTW, love the red bean pie Micky D have in Hong Kong.

PS: Wish your buddy Ben was here. I mean, love to see his reaction on Chinese McD menu.

Drinking Mickey D's bubble tea is a good idea for major cities in North America, etc. The pearls may be at suffocating risk, (although) someone was compensated £1 million for a hot coffee burn earlier, (but) given the number of lawyers here, forget it.

By the way, I like the red bean pie that Mickey D.S. makes in Hong Kong.

P.S. Wish your partner Ben was here. I mean, I love seeing how he reacts when he looks at the Chinese McDonald's menu.

The MCD here in Hong Kong has Crispy thighs, honey bbq and garlic flavour chicken and wicked spicy wings.... Better than the KFC here .... we don''t have that plethora of matcha latte drinks like you have in the mainland :(

Way, way back, for the first few years after McDonalds opened in Australia, we had "Southern Fried Chicken" which was essentially threee(?) pieces of fried chicken resembling KFC, in a box. I remember it being crunchier than KFC but tasting a little different

A long time ago, when McDonald's opened in Australia for the first few years, we ate "Southern Fried Chicken", basically three (?). The chunks resemble fried chicken in KFC, packed in a box, and I remember it was crispier than KFC, but tasted a little different.

For most people, 80 CNY is quite expensive in China as one meal. I don''t know the accurate average price, but actually in middle-size cities, 10-30 (1-5 USD) is enough to feed a person. As for fast food restaurants, the prices of MCD, KFC and Burger King are set to be above average to promote sales of their membership cards. People who eat those just once in a while would look for appropriate activities to save their costs.

Occasionally people who eat these things will look for opportunities to save money.
