Second, economic development.
For the Republic of Abkhazia, it is economically more developed.
However, after the collapse of the Soviet Union, Georgia continued to retreat, causing the people's lives to decline and the economy to collapse.
So Abkhazia is economically dependent on Russia, because it can have cheaper energy to follow Russia.
There is also a broader market, which is very direct;
Third, security.
For the Republic of Abkhazia, it has been the object of hatred in Georgia since 2008.
Georgia is always looking for revenge, and if there is no Russia, then Sooner or later Georgia will have to go directly into Abkhazia.
For the Republic of Abkhazia, this was a catastrophe.
Therefore, only by joining Russia can we guarantee our own security, which is the core of the survival of the country. So the Republic of Abkhazia is naturally dead set.
