Two years later, he joined the Chinese Communist Party, and Teng Haiqing was very brave in the war, and although he was wounded many times, he still stubbornly continued to fight. As a result, he made many military achievements and was successfully promoted to company commander.
In June 1932, Teng Haiqing encountered a great joy in his life. In the just-concluded Battle of Huangguang, he led his men in pursuit of the enemy army, and when they reached the town of Puta, they captured two horses from the enemy army.

Because the platoon managed by Teng Haiqing was very special, the people in the platoon used to be cadres such as battalion commanders and company commanders.

Because he was one of the wounded, at this time he was injured by a grenade, resulting in his right arm being broken, and he lost two teeth, and his left eye could hardly see anything, and the injuries on his body could be said to be more serious.
But he still wanted to fight with the army, did not want to be left alone, and he watched the battalion commander, who was also seriously wounded, being carried away on a stretcher, and his heart was hard to hide.

Teng Haiqing was naturally very happy to see that he had another task. Ni Zhiliang did not expect how big a team Teng Haiqing could build in the end, but only instructed: Although we let go of our hands and feet, after organizing into a team, I will give you a right, and you Teng Haiqing can make up your own name.

These young and middle-aged people who came to join the ranks were all full of enthusiasm and all of them voluntarily joined the Red Army, hoping to overthrow the Kuomintang and make it impossible for these landlords to bully everyone again.
Teng Haiqing happily divided these people into 3 companies, became the captain of the brigade himself, and then let these people participate in armed training.
When Teng Haiqing first recruited, he promised that everyone would have a gun and everyone would go to fight the Kuomintang together, but due to the shortage of resources in the army, only 30 guns were issued from above.
