Wenstra's new pigeon breed lives up to its name, with the latest winner of almost 7,000 first prizes from the NPO

author:Pigeon racing

Following the well-known pigeons such as "Special Grey" and "Good Life", the Peter Wenstra father and son of the Netherlands have now opened a new era of pigeon breeding. In the breeding team in the loft, the South African million-shed champion Froyo returns and his brothers Cartier and Versace have become important backbones to help Venstra continue to shine.

On 29 May, the NPO Isisan 512 km race won a top score of 6,674 against Cartier Straight 739. The race was extremely difficult, with headwinds all the way, with the winners going 1231 m/min, 11 m/min ahead of the runners-up.

The father of the winner is the current number one breeder, Cartier, and the mother, Miss Saints, won a 1st Prov. Gennepe against 21,894 pigeons and a 2nd NPO Saints against 4,690 pigeons.
