Young Writers Network contracted writer Zhang Linchao's newly published short story collection "Ancestral Biography" is written about the stories that happen around rural people, although the works come from life, after artistic processing, these novels transcend life, read through the whole, feel that this is a literary masterpiece that reaches the hearts of the people, and the feeling after reading is cheerful and vivid, which is for the best product.

"Human life and value should not need to be discussed, because if there is a welcome, there must be a way back." In just a few days, I took the time to carefully read Zhang Linchao's short story collection "Ancestral Biography" (published by Tianjin Publishing and Media Group tianjin people's publishing house), and deeply felt that the author was born in his chest, had keen insight, sharp pen, read from beginning to end, the language was smooth and fluent, said to be reading novels, had a great sense of prose beauty, and benefited a lot after reading, which was a good book that warmed people's hearts, helped people grow, and understood society.

As far as I know, Zhang Linchao, a native of Zhengzhou, Henan, was born in Zhenping, Henan. He is now working at the Yellow River Institute of Science and Technology, and is a contracted writer of the Young Writers Network. Since childhood, I have loved reading and writing. In 2018, he published a 220,000-word personal non-fiction diary collection "Homeland Affection" [Zhongzhou Ancient Books Publishing House]. What kind of book is "Ancestry"? After reading it, this is a collection of short stories created by Zhang Linchao in his spare time, including a total of 21 short stories. These 21 novels, some long and some short, no more than 20,000 words long, only about 3,000 or 5,000 words short, each novel can make people have an epiphany at the same time, trigger resonance, make people think deeply, and learn to look at life from a new perspective.

Reading novels, as a pastime, couldn't be better. Zhang Linchao's novels let us know that the truth, goodness and beauty in the world coexist, and they are everywhere and all the time; the process of discovering truth, goodness and beauty in daily life is the process of enjoying a better life, the folks and family affection in the story are accurately described in place, people's affection, hard work, friendship, mutual help, mutual love, frankness, hard work, positiveness, etc., all reflect the truth, goodness and beauty. However, everything is relative, and if there is truth, goodness, and beauty, there will inevitably be false evil and ugliness. In daily life, around us true and false, good and evil, beauty and ugliness, sincerity and falsehood, in fact, there is no quantitative and clear boundary, people's words and deeds often have a change of "one thought", this change may be a kind of good and evil transformation, true and false exposure, beauty and ugliness of the show. People want to live out the truth, truth, goodness and beauty do not need people to deliberately create, it is attached to the basic social morality and good customs, as long as everyone obeys, then our society will be safe, healthy, harmonious and beautiful.

The novel begins with "Eighteen generations of ancestors, the long-established Chinese medicine family Sun Jizu Sun Clinic, which has lasted for more than 300 years, is closed." A few words, but it captured the reader's heart, the eighteen generations of ancestral practice of medicine for more than three hundred years of the clinic, how can it be said that the door is closed? What's the story here? The whole novel is well laid out and rigorously structured, from why the clinic is not allowed, and the inner world and rich social experience of the eighteenth generation of Sun Jizu, the seventeenth generation of Sun Yaoren, and the sixteenth generation of Sun Guangji are depicted in detail.

"Boundary", "Dowry", "Reclamation" these are all ordinary things in rural life. The author Zhang Linchao, however, from the smallest people and things in life, observes from multiple angles and refines with heart, and dedicates a short and readable story to the reader.

"The Way Back" and "Quit Killing" reveal that the family is the best safe haven for a person. Only by having a warm home can you experience the warmth of home. Parents are there, home is there. Father is heaven, mother is home. No matter how old a person is, his parents are there, he is a child; in the absence of his parents, he must hold up the sky that belongs to him and shoulder the responsibility of standing up to the sky.

"Etiquette" is about the most respected norms of Chinese. Whether it is in the unit, family, or in our daily life, people will pay attention to the number of etiquette, pay attention to the exchange of etiquette. Whether it is a red thing or a white thing, it is a human feeling, indicating that the friendship is in place, although it is not polite to people, sometimes it is calculated, or it is not emotional. The change of the storyline, the emotions of the characters like the five uncles returning to the village to support face, and the people in the village are willing to invite the five uncles back to the village, all of which have become daily rituals. In fact, many people will encounter, the number of etiquette, so that this society quietly changes, people will also be troubled by these cumbersome etiquette every day.

"Intersection", "Characters", "Return", "All Should" and other stories are described in detail, the events and characters are clearly explained, and after reading, there is a lot of things that happen around us, which shows that the author has kung fu, pays attention to collecting the stories around him, is good at capturing, and the text kung fu is solid.

Through these stories in "Ancestors", readers see not only the human feelings that may occur or have happened around you and me, but also a kind of re-experience of life and a deep reflection on the truth, goodness and beauty of the world.

Judging from Zhang Linchao's novels, he is ideal, he adheres to the purity of the countryside, he is romantic, yearning for a life like "People", and in "No Shame", he laments many helplessnesses in life and incredible coincidences.

Zhang Linchao's novels, this structural style is what I like, and I think most readers will also like it. In particular, the author's first narrative is always so concise and eye-catching. It's like pulling a family routine with you, everything is so unhurried, it's really enjoyable. For example: "This is a story that happened to me, it's bizarre, it's so bizarre that it doesn't feel like it's real." Most of the people who have heard me tell this story think that I made it up. I laughed and said: It's true. They're my neighbors. "(Boundary)" Dexing is the top pillar of the home. He suddenly fell ill and was admitted to the county hospital. The days at home were suddenly in trouble. His younger brother Defa, who was studying in the outside world, also lost his source of livelihood" (Ganlai). At the beginning of this, the characters and plot stand firmly. Although it is a text, it has a sense of scene and a picturesque scene.

The novel is good, the beginning and the end, which shows the skill, Zhang Linchao's novel is very strong, many helplessness and human feelings, truth, goodness and beauty are in it, but literally clear and not how to write, which must be read by yourself while thinking. It's a great collection of novels and well worth a read. These 21 short stories are all classics, and when you read them, you feel a little short, how to read them and read them? Reading and reading will think so, which means that Zhang Linchao's novel is not difficult to read and attracts you, but suddenly it is over, which makes people feel a little as if they are not enough.
