The 96-year-old Queen, who attended the 2022 Chelsea Flower Show with her family, looks energetic and emotionally motivated, one of her favourite calendar events.
Considering her current mobility issues, the 96-year-old chose to travel by car. But that didn't diminish her pleasure. The Queen was clearly in high spirits during the show, visibly smiling when she arrived and smiling at happy onlookers.
She wears a beautiful coral powder suit with white gloves and a three-stranded pearl necklace to complement her outfit. There is another very important ornament - a beautiful Cartier brooch, which was given to her by her parents, King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, on the occasion of the Queen's 19th birthday in 1945. It shows the open state of two flowers: one made of pink sapphire with a row of rubies around the diamond in the center, and the other made of blue sapphire with a diamond in the center.
Also present were the Queen's youngest son, Prince Edward, wife Sophie Wessex, granddaughter Princess Beatrice and her husband, Eduardo Mapelli Mozi. There is also Prince William and Princess Kate.
