Located in Yulong Naxi Autonomous County, Lijiang City, Yunnan Province, Yulong Snow Mountain is the southernmost snow mountain in China and the southernmost snow mountain in the northern hemisphere, with a mountain rangeing from north to south, with an area of 960 square kilometers.
The Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is called "Oulu" in the Naxi language, meaning "Tianshan Mountain". If you want to go up the snowy mountains, start with Ganhaizi. Walking through a plateau meadow surrounded by mountains on three sides and lush forests, from Ganhaizi to Spruce Ping, there is a deep valley, the valley is a long stream, which is formed by the melting glacier snow water of Yulong Snow Mountain, named "White Water River", and its downstream is the Blue Moon Valley known as "Xiaojiuzhaigou". Lugu Lake, located at the junction of Yanyuan County, Sichuan Province, and Ninglang County, Yunnan Province, is under the jurisdiction of Sichuan and Yunnan.
