By disrupting the Ukrainian army and then encircling it, so that its troops can only fight independently in a divided state, and then cutting off the supply can eat away at the Ukrainian army with minimal losses. This not only avoided short contact with the Ukrainian army in the street battle, but also ended the battle as soon as possible, which was most suitable for the Russian army, and the defeat of the Ukrainian army had become a reality.
