The Americans wanted to expel Turkey, but Erdogan was not afraid to make excessive demands on Fenri

Turkey's efforts to block Finland and Sweden from joining NATO have offended a bunch of people.

According to the Russian Satellite News Agency, the American expert Pipes said on a program that Turkey opposes Finland and Sweden joining NATO and should be expelled from NATO. Pipes stressed that it was not correct for Turk to bargain with NATO for his own benefit.

He believes that Turkey has been violating NATO's position and policies and is not actually part of NATO. So the firing of the ear is timely.

On the surface, the expert criticized Turkey as a traitor to NATO, but its focus is not on excluding Turkey from NATO, but on making Turkey a little more loyal, not engaging in the work of the Qin Dynasty, thinking about its own interests, and not obeying NATO's command.

Because Turkey itself is a changeable country, which is determined by its geopolitical characteristics across Eurasia. Turkey, on the other hand, is a great power in its own right throughout history and has its own unique policies. The reason why we have joined NATO in a deliberate and complete way is nothing more than to gain an extra sense of security and avoid becoming a victim of the great power game.

For the United States and NATO, it is precisely Turkey's geographical location and the geopolitical benefits that come with it.

Let me give you two examples. For example, the United States entered Syria under the banner of counter-terrorism and smuggled the country's oil to Iraq for money, so as to achieve the purpose of feeding the war with war and maintaining military hegemony in the Middle East. Turkey's involvement in Syria to crack down on the PKK has also made the situation in the Middle East more and more chaotic, which is exactly what the United States needs.

Because the more chaotic the situation, the more favorable it is for the United States to fish in muddy waters. Especially after the hasty withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan, a NATO member is also needed to maintain its influence in the Middle East, and Turkey is the best choice.

With Turkey guarding the Middle East for the United States and NATO, then Iran, Russia, and so on cannot work together to help Syria achieve reunification, nor can it make anti-American forces twist into a rope.

Another example is the first drone bomb attack on turkey's military base in Iraq on May 21. This is likely to be the work of some anti-US forces.

You know, these anti-AMERICAN forces have previously attacked THE US military bases in Iraq, and now it is the turn of the Turkish army to be bombed, which shows that the Turkish army has become the substitute ghost of the US military. With the Turkish army attracting fire, then the U.S. army can free up its hands to deal with opponents in other directions.

From these two points of view, the United States needs Turkey to exist as a tool man.

Perhaps because it understands that the United States and Turkey directly use each other's relationship, Turkey has taken the opportunity to sit on the ground and constantly put forward various demands to NATO. Erdogan, for example, demanded that Sweden stop supporting terrorist groups and lift restrictions on the defense industry imposed on Ankara. He also demanded that Finland change its laws to extradite "innocent persons".

It is clear that Turkey wants more geopolitical interests, which require the cooperation of NATO members. Therefore, Erdogan will open his mouth wide and keep making demands.

Fundamentally speaking, if Turkey wants to gain the recognition of NATO members, it must not rely on blackmail, but must show single-mindedness, and cannot eat in the bowl and look at the pot, so as to avoid "NATO everywhere against Turkey."

This is not an exaggeration, but a factual basis. After all, on the issue of resources in the Eastern Mediterranean, the Libyan issue, and the Cyprus issue, Turkey has great conflicts with Greece and France.

To ease this tension, Turkey must submit to the will of the West and not be hard-pressed. But the reality is that Turkey, for its own interests, disregards NATO's collective interests, and must let NATO cooperate with it. Turkey is doing this because it has a special geographical position, and the United States does not dare to do anything with itself.

On the other hand, it really pushed Turkey into a hurry, Erdogan fell headlong into the arms of Russia, when Russia and Turkey formed an alliance, not only the pressure on NATO increased, but also a large number of refugees and terrorists will also impact Europe.

Thinking of these circumstances, Turkey will certainly not submit to NATO's will. For Turkey, its own interests outweigh everything. Since NATO uses itself to block Russia's expansion, it can also use NATO to gain benefits, is this not an equivalent exchange? NATO has nothing to lose!

As the saying goes, there are no eternal friends, only eternal interests! It's all true here in Turkey! Nato, on the other hand, must properly resolve the contradictions with Turkey, and cannot make emotional decisions and forcibly expel Turkey.
