"Bulldog" Allowski will play UFC Fighting Night 174
Veteran "Bulldog" Andrei Arlovski will be challenged by a UFC newcomer, former PFL heavyweight champion Philipe Lins. The showdown will take place on May 3 at UFC Fighting Night 174 in Oklahoma City, USA.
Andrey Arlovsky currently has a record of 28 wins, 19 losses and no results, including 17 KO and 3 surrender wins. The 41-year-old has been in no form in recent years, losing five of his six appearances, the only win coming last July with a unanimous decision to beat returning Ben Rothwell. In several defeats, Arlowski lost to Tai Tuivasa and Walt Harris. Last November, he was KOD in just 29 seconds of a match against Jairzinho Rozenstruik.
Felipe Linz currently has a record of 14 wins and 3 losses, including 8 KO and 4 surrender wins. Lins, 34, played for Bellator in 2014-2017 but was eventually released due to a poor record. Lins then competed in the heavyweight championship of the PFL 2018 season and made it all the way to the final to win the championship, receiving millions of dollars in prize money. It is worth mentioning that Lins has completely ended the opponent in the last 8 wins, and the standing and ground technique is not bad.
In addition, two Brazilian women, Claudia Gadelha and Marina Rodriguez, will also compete in this competition. Claudia Guedha currently has a record of 17 wins and 4 losses, including 2 KO and 7 surrender wins. She was considered the strongest straw welter outside of Joanna Jedrzejczyk and had won 4 of her previous 6 matches. In addition to losing to Jessica Andrade and Nina Ansaroff, she also defeated opponents such as Carla Esparza and Randa Markos, officially ranking 6th in the grassweight.
Marina Rodriguez currently has a record of 12 wins and 2 draws, including 5 KO and 1 surrender win. She was selected for the Brazilian version of "Tuesday Challenger" and signed with a record of 10 wins to the UFC. However, in four appearances in the octagonal cage, they were drawn with a majority with Randa Marcos and Cynthia Calvillo. In the other two wins, Rodriguez defeated Jessica Aguilar and Tecia Torres by unanimous judgment to officially rank 9th.
UFC Fighting Night 174 will be held on May 3 in Oklahoma City, USA on May 3, Beijing time. The headline main event of the tournament will be a midweight showdown between Jack Hermansson vs former champion Chris Weidman. (
