Cao Yang made his top league debut in the 25th round of the 2000 A League when Tianjin Teda played at home against Yunnan Hongta. He then gradually became the main right-back in the team.

After the 2002 World Cup, the Chinese national football team was reorganized, when Shen Xiangfu was a transitional coach, participating in the West Asian Final Four Invitational Tournament in Bahrain, cao Yang, who was only 21 years old at the time, was selected for the national team for the first time, and what people did not expect was that the first time he represented the national team was reused, and the three games of the West Asian Final Four Invitational Tournament were all played for 90 minutes, and the last game against Bahrain scored the first international A-level goal. In 2005, he represented the national team as a main right-back in 2 matches of the East Asian Final Four, wearing the number 11 shirt.

In the 2008 season, Cao Yang scored 7 goals, after Du Zhenyu, Cao Tianbao, Gao Lin and Han Peng among domestic players, but unlike these 4 players, Cao Yang is the only authentic defender.

In 2009, he was selected for the "High One" national team led by Gao Hongbo, and also served as the captain of the field.

At the beginning of the 2010 season, Cao Yang finally returned to Tianjin Teda after a compromise and a strike after experiencing Tianjin Teda's contract goal, but has since ceased to serve as the team's main captain.

In 2013, Cao Yang scored his 45th career goal against Beijing Guoan, breaking the record of 44 goals held by Fan Zhiyi, becoming the most goal-scoring defender in the history of China's professional league.

In the 2015 season, the team implemented a young policy, and Cao Yang left the first team to become a reserve team player and assistant coach.

In the preparation of the 2016 season, due to the tight personnel of the back line, Cao Yang returned to the first team roster.

In the 5th round of the 2016 Chinese Super League, Cao Yang made his debut again after a gap of 531 days and scored a goal to help the team to equalize the opponent.

On December 1, 2019, Cao Yang started in the final round of the season and scored a penalty in the 65th minute before being replaced in the 90th minute. At this point, Cao Yang's nearly 20-year career has come to an end.

Yu Genwei is the most famous player in Tianjin after the start of the professional league, serving as the captain of the club and the core of the offensive organization for many years, and often single-handedly helped the weakened Tianjin team to stabilize in the top league in the early stage of the professional league.

Yu Genwei was selected for the Chinese national team as early as 1997, participated in the 1998 World Cup qualifiers, and represented the national team in the 2002 World Cup qualifiers, scoring a winning goal against Oman, thus enabling the Chinese team to enter the World Cup ahead of schedule. Wearing the No. 11 shirt of China in the World Cup, he came off the bench in the first match against Costa Rica and the last game against Turkey. Later, Yu Genwei also participated in the 2006 World Cup qualifiers, scoring a goal in the home match against Hong Kong, but the Chinese team still failed to qualify from the group due to the goal difference disadvantage, and this campaign also became the best song of Yu Genwei's national team.

On January 27, 2006, Yu Genwei announced his retirement as deputy general manager of Tianjin TEDA Football Club. In the 2006 Chinese Super League, Tianjin Teda still registered for Yu Genwei, and the jersey number was still no. 10. From 2007 to 2009, he was also an assistant coach of the team, assisting Yarabinsky and Zuo Shusheng. At the end of the 2009 season, with the turmoil within the team, Yu Genwei left the club and has been engaged in school football and youth football training ever since.

In February 2019, Yu Genwei was appointed as the leader of Tianjin Tianhai. At present, the Jinmen Tigers have regrouped, and Yu Genwei has been revealed to be the team's manager.

At the end of 1984, Zhang Yin, a football coach at the Liaoning Sports And Physical Education Institute, recruited young students in the age of 77 and 78. In 1985, Zhao Junzhe became one of the first students. In 1993, he entered the Liaoning youth team and in 1998, he entered the first team of the Liaoning team. In 1999, he helped the promoted Ma Liaoning team to win the second place in the A League and the Super League in that year.

In 2000, Zhao Junzhe entered the national team and showed his strength as a technically well-rounded midfielder in the position of right forward and back. In 2001, Zhao Junzhe became the captain of the Liaoning team.

In 2002, he was named to the squad of the then national team coach, Milu, and participated in the World Cup in South Korea and Japan. It is worth mentioning that he hit the goalpost with a sudden cold arrow in the second game of the group stage against Brazil, almost rewriting history and scoring the first goal for the Chinese team in the World Cup. Two years later, he participated in the Asian Cup in China, helping the Chinese team win the runner-up on their doorstep.

On October 18, 2007, Zhao Junzhe, together with Zheng Zhi, Li Weifeng and Xiao Zhanbo, served as the captain of the national team. But soon after, he did not participate in the national football training in the United States. This is the first time in 5 years that Zhao Junzhe has lost to the national team. At the same time, it is also because of his age that Zhao Junzhe has faded out of the national team.

In 2009, Zhao Junzhe was relegated to the Chinese League A with Liaoning, but relied on the team's efforts to win the championship and eventually returned to the Chinese Super League.

In September 2011, Liaoning Hongyun's 1-2 away defeat to Henan Jianye's Chinese Super League was Zhao Junzhe's 300th personal top league. Of these 300 league games, 130 are in the A-League and 170 in the Chinese Super League. Zhao Junzhe is also the first Player in China to make 300 appearances in the top flight for the same team.

On 28 April 2012, Liaoning's 8th round of the Chinese Super League against Guangzhou R&F was Zhao Junzhe's 314th top league game for Liaoning, thus breaking Zou Yougen's record of 313 appearances and becoming the player with the most appearances in China's top league. And Zhao Junzhe also scored a goal in the game.

On October 30, 2016, Liaoning Hongyun defeated Jiangsu Suning 1-0 at home and successfully achieved relegation. After this campaign, Zhao Junzhe ended his 19-year career with Liaozu and officially hung up his boots.

Feng Junyan was born in guangzhou youth team and once represented Xiangxue Pharmaceutical, which is composed of Guangzhou second team, in the Hong Kong Group A Football League. He joined the Guangzhou first team in the summer of 2003 and made his first appearance for Guangzhou in the away match against Xiamen Red Lion on 5 July, where he performed well and quickly rose to the team's main right forward. On 2 November, he scored his first goal of his career, helping Guangzhou Xiangxue sweep Harbin Lange 6-1 away from home. In the following seasons, Feng Junyan has been the absolute main force of guangzhou's right forward.

In 2007, due to injuries, Feng Junyan was in average condition, and Shen Xiangfu, then the head coach of Guangzhou Medicine, preferred to use Yang Pengfeng and Xu Deen on the right side, and Feng Junyan became a substitute player, making only 13 appearances in the season. However, after Guangzhou Pharmaceutical was promoted to the Chinese Super League, he was successfully transformed into a back by Shen Xiangfu and had an excellent performance in this position. On 28 June 2008, he came off the bench and scored his first Chinese Super League goal in stoppage time, giving Guangzhou a 3–2 home win over Qingdao Zhongneng. Since then, Feng Junyan has regained the main position of the team. At the end of the 2009 season, he made 160 league appearances for Guangzhou, surpassing Lu Jianjun to become the player who played the most for Guangzhou's professional league.

In 2010, Guangzhou was whistleblown for playing match-fixing in the anti-gambling storm of Chinese football and was sent to the Chinese League A. Feng Junyan stayed with the team and scored 3 goals in 21 appearances in the 2010 season, helping the team return to the Chinese Super League with a league championship result. In 2011, due to Guangzhou Evergrande's purchase of Yang Hao, Zhao Yuanxi and other players with national team experience, Feng Junyan was once again reduced to a substitute, and only got 6 substitute appearances in the league throughout the season, and won the 2011 Chinese Super League championship with Guangzhou Evergrande. In the 2012 season, feng Junyan regained a stable appearance due to the team's distraction from the AFC Champions League.

In the seventh round of the 2014 Chinese Super League, Feng Junyan debuted as the captain of the field, and his performance was as stable as ever, as a native of Guangzhou, the fans on the scene also had special feelings for Feng Junyan. In the 40th minute of the game, he had an epiphany to help the team break the deadlock, that attack in the middle of gao lin side to do the ball to Feng Junyan in the penalty area, Feng Junyan got the ball and suddenly shook past the opposing defender Paul and Cao Yunding, the ball down to the feet, he inserted himself to complete the goal, the opposing goalkeeper Geng Xiaofeng did not have any way to come to the ball. After scoring this goal, Feng Junyan has scored in official matches with Guangzhou for 11 consecutive seasons.

On February 18, 2015, Feng Junyan, who turned 31, announced his retirement on Weibo.

Gao Yao (Shandong Luneng is now Shandong Taishan Team).

There are 11 retired players in Chinese football who are "one team for a lifetime", who do you like the most? Cao Yang (Tianjin Teda now Jinmen Tiger) Yu Genwei (Tianjin Teda now Jinmen Tiger) Zhao Junzhe (Liaozu) Feng Junyan (Guangzhou Evergrande now Guangzhou Team) Gao Yao (Shandong Luneng now Shandong Taishan Team) Li Xiaopeng (Shandong Luneng now Shandong Taishan Team) Shu Chang (Shandong Luneng now Shandong Taishan Team) Tao Wei (Beijing Guoan) Yang Pu (Beijing Guoan) Xu Yunlong (Beijing Guoan) Zhou Yun

Gao Yao joined the first team of Shandong Luneng in 1995. From 1996 to 1998, Gao Yao played as a striker and did not play much in the Luneng team. In 1999, Santachi joined Shandong Luneng, Gao Yao changed from front forward to play at the back, and began to gradually occupy the main position of the team, helping the team win the double title of the A League and the FA Cup. In the 4th round of the 2000 A League, Luneng Taishan defeated Shenyang Haishi 3-0, and Gao Yao scored the first goal of his career.

In the 1999 season, Gao Yao was placed in the position of free center-back. Gao Yao, who is accustomed to playing in the forward position, suddenly kicked the defender, and at first he was a little uncomfortable, but soon entered the role, he defended fiercely, made it decisive, and made up for the position in time, making it difficult for the opponent to pass the pass. At that time, Gao Yao was the player with the most appearances among the young players of the Taishan team, and made a lot of contributions to the Taishan team's good results.

In 2000, with his outstanding performance in the league, the 21-year-old Gao Yao was selected for the national football team coached by Milu. In 2002, Gao Yao, along with Su Maozhen and Li Xiaopeng, was shortlisted for the 23-man roster for the World Cup in Korea and Japan, but unfortunately Gao Yao failed to play. In the 2005 AFC Champions League, Shandong Luneng defeated the Yokohama Mariners 1-0 away from home, and Gao Yao scored the only goal of the game, once becoming an "anti-Japanese hero". In 2006, Gao Yao, as the main force of the team, helped Shandong Luneng win the Chinese Super League championship.

In the 2002 World Cup, Gao Yao represented the Chinese team in the World Cup, Gao Yao was lucky, but zero appearances were unfortunate. As one of the three internationals of the Taishan team, Gao Yao is proud, but it is very embarrassing to sit on the bench and watch the game. But Gao Yao could see it, and the sentence he often hung on his lips was: "Don't worry, there will be a chance." It is this good mentality that urges Gao Yao to keep moving forward.

In 2004, Gao Yao, who had outstanding defensive ability, was a very important pawn of the team, and Gao Yao, who has been obscure, also had many shining points.

In the first round of the 2005 Asian Champions League group stage, Shandong Luneng Taishan team away to yokohama Mariners in the land of bullets. Gao Yao scored a goal to defeat the Yokohama Mariners in the land of bullets, and won a victory that the people of the country were quite proud of. After the game, Gao Yao and Taishan were hailed as national heroes by fans.

In the Taishan team, as a back, the tall Gao Yao has a slow turn, rough technique, sometimes looks very clumsy, and weak offensive ability has always been Gao Yao's shortcoming. But Gao Yao can stand firm in this offensive Taishan team by his relentless running and ferocious shoveling, dirty work he rushes to do, even at the expense of winning cards, and he also plays an important role in set-piece tactics, often able to score beautiful headers. It is no exaggeration to say that he is China's Gattuso.

After the end of the 2007 season, Gao Yao no longer played in the professional league. In the 2009 season, Gao Yao did not participate in the physical fitness test and officially announced his retirement. Gao Yao made a total of 150 appearances during his time for Shandong Luneng, scoring 8 goals.

On January 5, 2011, Luneng Taishan Club announced the official retirement of Li Jinyu, Shu Chang and Gao Yao.
