The good news is that through tens of billions of investment in research and development, coupled with the upgrading of old models, the current number of users of Hongmeng system has exceeded 250 million. In addition, with the growth of Hongmeng system, Huawei's HMS ecosystem is also gradually improving. But sadly, Huawei's efforts against Hongmeng do not seem to have changed Glory's mind. It is understood that Honor pushed an update notification of the operating system in May. However, among the first batch of invited users, the underlying architecture of the operating system used by Honor is Still Android, which does not leave any opportunity for Hongmeng. What is more worrying is that Honor can update the system, perhaps re-authorized by Google, which makes the possibility of Honor adopting Hongmeng lower. Secondly, Honor executives also admitted that they will be competitors with Huawei and Apple in the future. Finally, and most importantly, some media have recently split the new glory machine, and the result is undoubtedly to tear off the last "fig leaf".
Originally, when it was not separated from Huawei, most of the parts used by Honor were mainly domestic supplies, but after the split, the parts suppliers in honor mobile phones underwent a serious tilt, and with the proportion of domestic parts decreasing, the proportion of parts supplied by US companies increased by 27%, accounting for nearly 40%. Although such an approach will help Honor products increase competitiveness, it is indeed contrary to Huawei's development ideas.
Perhaps Huawei fans will have mixed feelings when they see the change in glory, but I believe that Mr. Ren Zhengfei should be able to rest assured that he can see the change of glory.
