Recently, Du Heping stepped down as a member of the Standing Committee of the Heilongjiang Provincial CPC Committee and director of the United Front Work Department and returned to his hometown of Sichuan to serve as a member of the cppcc provincial CPPCC party group.
According to the Sichuan News Observation Client news, today, Du Heping attended the 33rd (expanded) meeting of the Provincial CPPCC Party Group as a member of the 12th Sichuan Provincial CPPCC Party Group.
Du Heping is the second member of the Heilongjiang Provincial Party Committee standing committee to be transferred across provinces recently. The governor of Chang'an Avenue (WeChat ID: Capitalnews) noted that before the National Day, Gan Rongkun, secretary of the Political and Legal Committee of the Heilongjiang Provincial Party Committee, came to Henan Province to serve as a member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the secretary of the Political and Legal Committee.
Born in June 1963 in Cangxi County, Sichuan Province, Du Heping graduated from Southwest Normal College (now Southwest University) in 1984 majoring in political science and came to Chongqing (then part of Sichuan Province) as a teacher at the Light Industry School.
In 1989, Du Heping entered the Chongqing Municipal Government, successively working in the Policy Research Office, the Office of Opening to the Outside World, the General Office and other departments, and in July 1998, he became the director of the Third Secretariat of the General Office. During this period, Chongqing was officially upgraded to a municipality in June 1997.
At the end of 2002, Du Heping was transferred to Zhong County, successively serving as acting county magistrate, county magistrate, and secretary of the county party committee, and in 2008, he was transferred to the deputy director of the Organization Department of the Chongqing Municipal Party Committee.
In February 2013, Du Heping was explicitly appointed executive deputy director of the Organization Department of the Chongqing Municipal Party Committee, and in November he was transferred to the secretary of the Jiangbei District Party Committee.
In May 2017, Du Heping joined the Standing Committee of the Chongqing Municipal Party Committee, promoted to the rank of deputy minister, and concurrently served as the secretary of the Wanzhou District Party Committee.
In January last year, Du Heping went north to Heilongjiang to serve as a member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and director of the United Front Work Department. This time in Sichuan is his second cross-provincial transfer.
At present, there are 11 members of the Standing Committee of the Heilongjiang Provincial CPC Committee, including: Zhang Qingwei, secretary of the provincial party committee; Wang Wentao, deputy secretary of the provincial party committee and governor; Chen Haibo, deputy secretary of the provincial party committee; Wang Changsong, secretary of the provincial discipline inspection commission and director of the provincial supervision commission; Li Haitao, executive vice governor; Fu Yongguo, political commissar of the provincial military region; Wang Yongkang, vice governor; Zhang Yupu, secretary general of the provincial party committee; Wang Zhaoli, secretary general of the Harbin municipal party committee; Jia Yumei, director of the propaganda department; and Chen Anli, director of the organization department.
