May Fourth is a festival for young people, which contains the youthful vitality of continuous upward mobility, which is the spiritual strength of unremitting struggle towards the goal. On the occasion of May Fourth Youth Day, the "Xingjian - Wang Heng Works Exhibition" was displayed, arranged and opened at the Beijing Huaya Art Foundation as scheduled. Unlike in the past, due to the epidemic, all the planned opening events have been postponed. Artist Wang Heng lost both hands and forearms when he was electrocuted at the age of 4, but with his firm artistic ideals and beliefs, he made unremitting efforts to persist in creation, and was admitted to the Master's Degree of the China Academy of Arts. His works are mainly freehand paintings of flowers and birds, which are sincere and moving, and have a variety of meanings. This exhibition exhibits more than 60 of Wang Heng's paintings, which epitomize his painting exploration and achievements in recent years. Although there was no on-site opening ceremony, the leaders, division leaders and guests who cared about Wang Heng's growth all sent sincere blessings and encouragement.
Wang Heng was born in 1983 in Dongzhi, Anhui. In 2009, he graduated from Communication University of China with a bachelor's degree in art and design. In 2009, he studied calligraphy with Mr. Yang Zaichun and the painter Mr. Ali Leigong, and in 2014 he studied freehand flower and bird painting from Mr. Zhang Lichen, and is now a master's student in the direction of freehand flowers and birds at the China Academy of Arts, and is under the guidance of his mentor Mr. Yin Shuyu.
In 2008, he was selected by the Olympic Organizing Committee as the torchbearer of the Beijing Olympic Games and was selected as one of the top 100 chinese university students of the year. During his work, he has won honorary medals such as Beijing May Fourth Youth, Anhui Province "Self-Improvement Model", and Chizhou Top Ten Outstanding Youth.
While creating calligraphy and painting, he also loves sports, taekwondo and football, and has won dozens of gold medals in the athletics of the national and provincial paralympic games and won the title of national outstanding athlete.
Invited to record "Lu Yu has a date", "we", "departure to happiness", "China Dream Show" and many other programs. He has lectured in colleges and universities and enterprises across the country and has been awarded the titles of Chinese Contemporary Inspirational Figure and Excellent Counselor.

Wang Heng is a master's student at the Graduate School of the China Academy of Arts and studied under Yin Shuyu.
