AI Dream Files: The Nirvana Project is a text reasoning game produced by developer Spike Chunsoft. The game is a sequel to AI: Dream Files, and today the developer tweeted that the European version of AI Dream Files: Nirvana Project (both digital and physical) will be postponed to July 8.
Due to limited production capacity and global shipping delays, Spike Chunsoft, Inc. and Numskull Games announced the postponement of AI Dream Files: The Nirvana Project on all platforms in Europe and Oceania (Nintendo Switch, PlayStation4, and Xbox One). To keep prices stable, the digital version of these regions will also be postponed until July 8.
"AI Dream Archives: The Nirvana Project" is a sequel to "AI: Dream Files", which tells the story of a corpse found six years ago with only the "right half" left. At that time, no matter how much search was done, the "left half" of the body could not be found. Six years later, the mysterious "left half of the body" was found. However, the "left half" of this corpse showed no signs of decay, as if it had been alive until just now. So, the newly appointed ABIS Special Search Officer Rishi, in cooperation with the self-discipline-controlled AI robot Hitomi, began to investigate the "Half Body serial murder case"...
The game adopts a dual-protagonist setting, and the player will control the "Rishi" and "Dragon Wood" belonging to the Special Search Class of the Metropolitan Police Department "ABIS", and will work together with the eyeball-type AI robot partners "Hitomi" and "Ring" to track down the case.
This work is mainly composed of "search chapter" and "dream chapter", the former will conduct on-site evidence search and hearing testimony in the real world, and the latter will infiltrate the dream world of important witnesses to explore. Players will shuttle between the two modes, obtaining key evidence and intelligence, and stripping away the cocoon to get closer to the truth of the incident.
The game's release date in other regions remains unchanged, and it is expected to log in to the PS4, Xbox One, Win10, Steam, and Switch platforms on June 24.
