The only vocal card of the cheat vortex: the number is banned because of the use of the flip hand table, and the spontaneous 70K hand is used to prove innocence

Recently, it can be described as an eventful autumn in the high-level professional card circle, and the lives of many top professionals have been disturbed, and Chris Brewer is one of them. Brewer was revealed to have been banned from GGPoker for using RTA (real-time assist).

On May 4, local time, Brewer posted a long article on Twitter, clarifying that he was indeed banned, but did not use RTA. Here's what he published in a long article:

During the 2020 epidemic, I played online poker on GG for about 3 to 4 months, mainly 5K+ MTT and casually playing some high-stakes table flash games. For the first time in my career, I've focused on online poker, and you know I used to play live flash games. According to GG, they banned my account because I used RTA, but I did only use the flip hand table and didn't use RTA.

When playing cards on GG, I usually play PLO, short cards, no-limit cash and no-limit MTT at the same time. It is impossible to apply RTA to these games together. I did use flip-up hand tables and randomizers, which are ubiquitous and available on most poker training sites. I had never thought it was wrong to use these watches, and I wouldn't hide my use of them, and anyone who asked about them would admit it, and I always thought it was a common thing in online poker circles. Since I was banned, my mind has changed, and I have seen a lot of debate about the use of the flip hand table. I did violate (GG's) Terms of Service, so I wouldn't say this penalty is unfair. While I don't really know that it's a violation, it's still my responsibility, especially since I'm a high-roller. GG must not have any evidence that I used RTA because I didn't use it, and GG can confirm that what I said is true. Since being banned from GG, I have never played cards on GG or tried to sign up for a new account. Rumors that someone sponsored me (playing cards on GG) or that I was involved with other players who were equally banned are not true. I hadn't even personally met these people before these things broke out in GG.

If I could, I would be willing to ask someone who is respected in the circle to analyze the hands I have played on GG to prove that I really did not cheat, although this will have a negative impact on the EV of my future career. As long as it is reasonable, I accept that all the hands I have played will be reviewed by the person concerned, and no hand, one session, or even a tournament will be missed. As long as these reviews are true and comprehensive, you'll see that my hand history will show that I didn't use RTA, and you'll see that I often make mistakes despite playing cards in a theory-based way. I am willing to accept any censorship to clear my name, because I have never used flip aids when I hit the line.

After the statement, some netizens asked Brewer if he could provide data to support his claim, brewer sent a chart showing how many mistakes he made in the 76302 hand, but some people pointed out that this is not enough to prove anything.

As for what he said, he did not know that it was illegal to use the flip hand table, although this reason was acceptable, but as a high table professional card with more than 5 million to the live tournament prize money, wouldn't he think of checking this matter first when playing on the line?

In this cheating storm, Chris Brewer was the only one who took the initiative to speak out. How will things go? We'll see.
