"This disease should insist on massage and rehabilitation treatment, some years will get better, and some will not be good for more than ten years." The most important thing is to help delay the deterioration of the disease and pay attention to the spiritual growth of the child. "This is the result of the diagnosis and treatment of the condition that Zhuang Yueying and others came."

"In hospitals and some institutions, the cost of rehabilitation treatment for children with cerebral palsy is very high, and it costs two or three hundred yuan an hour." The rehabilitation of children with cerebral palsy is not effective in a few hours or a few days, but to be done every day, month by month, year after year, and having a child with cerebral palsy will often ruin a family. For the sake of the child, Zhuang Yueying was determined to become a rehabilitator and masseuse, using her own strength to bring hope to children with cerebral palsy. Under the guidance of the teacher, she earnestly studied the knowledge of rehabilitation and massage, and raced against the clock to win time for the child's recovery. At that time, she regarded this job as the most important thing in her life, not only for her children, but also wanted to complete school as soon as possible and share the problems of families who had the same experience as us. In November 2008, Zhuang Yueying successfully gave birth to her second child, but was diagnosed with corneal degeneration caused by acute keratitis in her left eye, which was undoubtedly worse for Zhuang Yueying. In order to reduce the burden on the family, Zhuang Yueying took care of the children while silently gritting her teeth and insisting on learning the rehabilitation training for disabled children. "Looking at those children with disabilities, it will be sad and I will want to give them more love." Zhuang Yueying said that they are "winged angels" who cannot play in the arms of nature like normal children, but can only do rehabilitation training day after day, year after year, without friends, and even the love of parents will diminish over time.

In 2012, Zhuang Yueying participated in the training class for masseuses of Gansu Provincial Rehabilitation Center and successfully obtained the qualification certificate of masseuse. After inquiring around, she found that there was no rehabilitation center for children with cerebral palsy in Shandan County, where she was located, so she found the local disabled persons' federation rehabilitation center and engaged in the work of child rehabilitation. Under the careful treatment of Zhuang Yueying, the children with mild symptoms returned to normal. "Mother Zhuang, I love you." During the treatment, the children's tender love gave her more encouragement and motivation. "Treat patients like relatives, warm service warms people's hearts." "During the rehabilitation massage treatment, the child grabbed her without annoyance, biting her she was not angry, too patient." "Teacher Zhuang treats the children very carefully, thinks about the children and their families everywhere, and brings hope and light to the children and their families." "After the birth of many disabled children, parents have to go out to work to earn money in order to see their children, and their children can only be raised by grandparents, they lack the love of their parents, and their hearts are eager to care and care." Zhuang Yueying said that looking at these children, just like seeing their own children, will think of their own at a loss and pain. In 2014, Zhuang Yueying participated in the first training course on new progress in stroke rehabilitation in Gansu Province and achieved excellent results. In the same year, she applied to the Shandan County Disabled Persons' Federation and relevant departments to independently establish the first professional rehabilitation and care center for disabled children in Shandan County, named Shandan County Warm Day Care Center, to provide rehabilitation, education and care services for cerebral palsy and orphans and disabled children.

Zhuang Yueying does rehabilitation training for children with disabilities

Zhuang Yueying led the staff of the Warm Day Care Center to set up the "Dandelion" Youth Volunteer Service Team for the Disabled, absorbed social workers, adopted the "social organization + social worker + community" three-society linkage service model, combined professional rehabilitation services with volunteer service activities, integrated various professional social service resources such as rehabilitation treatment for the disabled, medical treatment, day care, and volunteer assistance, and provided more professional and diverse comprehensive services for the disabled. Later, the Shandan County Warm Day Care Center also moved from the initial small bungalow to the second floor of the Rehabilitation Center for the Disabled in the New Urban Area of Shandan County, supporting indoor and outdoor activities such as standardized rehabilitation training rooms, individual training rooms, wisdom training rooms, sensory integration rooms, dance rooms, maternal and infant treatment rooms, vision treatment rooms, physical therapy rooms, libraries and other indoor and outdoor activity venues. The center also has a rehabilitation training department and a special education department, and has more than 20 senior professional staff such as rehabilitation therapists and social workers.

From the first few children to do rehabilitation treatment to the present, 384 children with disabilities have been provided with professional services, and the number of disabled children who have achieved rehabilitation effect or graduated has reached 217, and the rehabilitation rate has reached 76%.

In 2021, the Shandan County Warm Day Care Center served 213 children with disabilities, of which the center concentrated on serving 91 people, and 122 children served at home through "sending education to the door" and "sending rehabilitation into the family"; in terms of adult disabilities, 65 people were served through the Shandan County Disabled Persons' Care Center, and more than 1,700 people were served at home through the forms of "sending rehabilitation into the family" and "sending assistive devices into the family".
