At the beginning of 2018, the demand for vacuum pump body increased significantly, but the daily production capacity of the branch factory at that time could only reach 70 pieces, in order to improve production efficiency, Wu Xunzhong carefully studied and pondered, from the three aspects of tooling, equipment, procedures to improve, processing efficiency increased by 2 times, saving 300,000 yuan in tooling costs for the company.
"The BQ4A pump body stop process is labor-intensive in ordinary vertical drilling, and workers are reluctant to operate this process." Wu Xunzhong said that after discovering this problem, he believed that the processing stop was directly processed when processing the four-face system, which could reduce the labor intensity of the operator, but the operation required the purchase of a tool, and the cost of a tool was as high as tens of thousands of yuan.
After repeated thinking, calculation and processing, after more than half a month of hard work, Wu Xunzhong successfully manufactured a tool. After the trial processing, the diameter and chamfer of the workpiece hole can meet the process requirements, saving more than 500,000 yuan in tool costs for the company.
Not a boutique product that does not leave the factory
Auto parts production belongs to the traditional industry, the market competition is fierce, and the user's requirements for products are getting higher and higher. In order to be more competitive in the market, Wu Xunzhong led the team to overcome difficulties and continuously improve the technical level to ensure that "not the fine products do not turn the order, not the boutique products do not leave the factory".
Camshaft is the core part of the fuel injection pump, the accuracy of the sample wheel directly affects the oil supply curve of the oil pump, but the purchase of a CNC cam grinder requires nearly 10 million yuan. In order to save costs, Wu Xunzhong repeatedly studied and analyzed, calculated the coordinates of each point through the computer and corrected the arc interpolation, and finally made a prototype with high precision, low cost and full compliance with customer requirements.
As new energy vehicles entered the homes of ordinary people, Wu Xunzhong led the team to start studying the new energy battery housing. This battery shell processing is complex, high precision, easy to deform, Wu Xunzhong is not afraid of challenges, through the strict design of tooling, tools, continuous optimization of cutting parameters, and finally successfully completed the product processing, creating considerable economic benefits for the company.
