Since its founding in Paris, France in 1854, Louis Vuitton, a luxury brand, has interpreted the art of fashion travel with exceptional quality, outstanding creativity and exquisite craftsmanship.
Brand story
The Louis Vuitton logo is derived from the brand founder Louis Vuitton full name abbreviation LV, its brand name is the founder's full name to create the first generation of LV patterns, since then, the capital letter combination LV pattern has been a symbol of LV leather goods. The Monogram motif was born six years after louis vuitton was founded. At that time, George Vuitton believed that the brand product should be given a consistent image logo, so he spent several weeks creating a pattern theme sketch. The Japanese aesthetic trend of this period was popular in Europe, and the final draft he selected also had the meaning of the traditional Japanese coat of arms: four-leaf flowers surrounded by circles, four-pointed stars, concave diamond-shaped inner bag four-pointed stars, and overlapping LV two words (Louis Vuitton's name abbreviation) to form a unique Monogram pattern combination. Louis Vuitton registered the Monogram pattern canvas design in 1897 and the brand in 1905.
