Casio announced the launch of the latest member of the G-SHOCK brand of shock-resistant watches. Five new GA-B2100 watches are the first in the iconic octagonal 2100 series to connect smartphones with Bluetooth and solar charging. Smartphone pairing via Bluetooth provides accurate timing. The Tough Solar charging system can effectively convert the light from fluorescent lamps and other light sources into the power of the watch, eliminating the need to replace the battery regularly. In addition, these watches have ultra-thin modules, and the part layout has been optimized not only to retain the compact dial design unique to the 2100 series, but also to enhance the functionality. This, coupled with Carbon Core Guard construction technology, which protects the module with a carbon fiber reinforced resin casing, provides both shock resistance and a compact housing of the same length and width as the GA-2100.

Sinomic Sensing launched the 2D single-line lidar 01A series single-line scanning lidar, which is based on the DTOF (direct flight) ranging principle, through rotational scanning to achieve two-dimensional area detection, its point cloud sampling frequency of up to 60,000 points / second, can accurately perceive the delicate surrounding environment. The 01A series single-line scanning lidar targets 70% reflectivity targets with a maximum detection radius of up to 50m. With a maximum of 60,000 laser beams emitted per second and intelligent filtering algorithms, the ability to detect small obstacles is also very prominent. The 01A series can not only achieve a detection radius of up to 50m, but also has great advantages in close detection. 01A series single-line scanning lidar has the advantages of high measurement accuracy, long measurement distance, small size and easy integration, and has become an indispensable core component of service robots.

Toshiba: 150V N-channel power MOSFETs

Toshiba Electronic Components & Storage Corporation launched the 150V N-channel power MOSFET (Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistor) "TPH9R00CQH". The product uses the latest generation process "U-MOSX-H" for switching power supplies in industrial equipment, including equipment deployed in data centers and communication base stations. The optimization of the new MOSFET structure improves the drain-source on-resistance trade-off and the two charge characteristics to achieve excellent low loss characteristics. In addition, the peak voltage between the drain and source is reduced during switching operation, helping to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI) from the switching power supply. Shipments will begin on March 31.
