On April 28, the first thematic museum of archaeology, the Shaanxi Archaeological Museum, was officially opened to the public.
The museum will combine cultural relics with the background of excavation to display the archaeological work process, technical methods, research ideas, and the outdoor field archaeology theme display area and the ceramic stone carving cultural relics display area will also be opened simultaneously. The museum exhibited a total of 5215 cultural relics in 4218 groups, and precious cultural relics such as Yan Zhenqing Shudan's "Luo Wanshun Epitaph" were met with the public for the first time.
At the same time, there are also a number of exhibits protected and restored with new concepts and advanced technologies, such as the Zhou Dynasty wooden figurines obtained in complete form by pouring gypsum liquid, the Western Zhou Dynasty chema pit and the Yuan Dynasty mural tomb that were completely moved into the museum after the overall "packaging".
