For a long time, the dominant factor in people's perception of "stable" life can be said to be the level of economic income, that is, there is enough wealth to ensure that the quality of life is higher than most people.
However, with the development of society and the emergence of some social risks - such as the global "new crown pneumonia" epidemic that has lasted for many years, people have gradually realized that only high income is not enough, and the real stable job should be the kind of "drought and flood protection", and there will be no risk of losing work because of some accidents.
Therefore, under this understanding, the work within the system that is very suitable for this requirement has become more and more "fragrant" in people's eyes. However, if you want to become a staff member within the system, various examinations are insurmountable mountains, whether it is the national examination, the provincial examination or the public institution selection examination, the difficulty and fierce competition are increasing.
So why do people insist on "squeezing their heads" for a compilation, even if they know that it is difficult to take the exam? Is this really the best way out to achieve class leapfrogging?
The so-called "examination staff" actually refers to the way individuals pass the examination to obtain various administrative establishments, or career preparations, and when people are admitted, they will be uniformly called "internal" staff.
Expenditure channels such as the salary income of these staff members and the expenses of related activities are often the expenditures of regular state institutions.
In short, after a person enters the system and becomes a person with a "establishment", the basic expenses of his life and various work-related expenses can be guaranteed to a large extent, and he can basically have a stable life.
This kind of "stability" can be said to be a comprehensive and multi-dimensional meaning. First of all, as we analyzed above, the economic income in the system is very stable, their various wages and expenses are guaranteed, and they are strictly in accordance with the relevant regulations, perhaps the number is not particularly large, but the amount is definitely not much changed.
Second, life within the system is highly secure.
I believe that people who have had job search experience understand that when applying, in addition to the income level, commuting costs, etc., one of the most important conditions to consider is to pay attention to the "five insurances and one gold" level of this profession: that is, various insurances and the number of housing provident funds.
Some people may think that in the enterprise, the income often reaches ten thousand yuan or even tens of thousands of yuan, is such a job inferior to a civil servant who earns thousands of yuan a month?
The various means of protection in the system are complete, not only including various insurances, but also various additional subsidies: high temperature subsidies, oil subsidies, meal subsidies, etc., plus a lot of provident fund income, which can be said to be a very objective income.
Ultimately, work within the system is relatively friendly and has a higher social status. The high income of enterprises is basically based on high working hours, and many companies have been criticized in many ways before the implementation of the "996" working time schedule.
Although there have been improvements since then, it is still not as stable as the work within the system, and overtime often occurs.
This is accompanied by social status within the system, which is considered to be very decent and status by virtue of the treatment enjoyed within the establishment, because to a certain extent, the staff within the establishment also represent the image of the relevant unit.
Of course, this also reminds the majority of staff within the establishment that they must pay attention to their own image outside.
In short, the various benefits of the work within the establishment make this kind of work become the "fragrant food" in people's eyes, and even the "life-saving straw" that changes life, the 2022 national examination can be said to be the most fierce competition in history, the average competition ratio is as high as 68:1, although the number of recruits has increased by 21% compared with last year, but the number of people who have registered for the exam has also exceeded 2 million for the first time: along with people's desire, the number of applicants for various examinations is also growing.
Is the examination the best way out for the poor to achieve class leapfrogging?
The so-called "class" may seem to many people to have a strong revolutionary connotation, and it is true that since Lenin this concept has been widely used in the class struggle, but the term is not only political, in social life "class" is a field that people cannot avoid.
In fact, this concept refers to groups with different ways of life in different areas of society, and the reason for class differences is actually because of the inequality of control over social resources.
For many societies, it is possible to achieve a leap between different classes. For example, in ancient China, "scholars, peasants, industrialists and merchants" can be regarded as a class division, and there are different social statuses between them.
But through the imperial examination, people can achieve this class leap. A notable problem in today's society is Hierarchical solidification, which is too difficult for many people to achieve class transition.
So can the poor in today's society achieve class leapfrogging and change their lives through the act of "examination and editing"?
The answer should be yes. If you can ensure that you are in an absolutely fair environment during the examination process, and then pass the relevant examinations with your own efforts, then there is no doubt that you can change the trajectory of your life, but the process may be relatively long.
For the poor, the lack of economical capital will lead to a lack of opportunities to compete in the field, for example, many students with poor economic conditions will give up graduate school, but the basic requirement of some positions in the establishment is a graduate degree, so this is a restriction.
When these people pass the exam and enter the system, they can get all kinds of treatment that is difficult to reach by normal means, and at the same time, one of the most important points is that they have promoted their social capital through career change, and after that, they are no longer affected by their previous status, so that their class gradually changes.
This transformation is certainly worth rejoicing, but it should be noted that on the one hand, do not get carried away by the sudden change of identity, become "inflated", but continue to work hard; secondly, in education and family, we must also change, and we can no longer live with the previous values. Class is a matter for generations, not just for oneself.
