According to The Korean media Chosun-biz, supply chain sources revealed that BOE and Apple signed a new contract earlier this month, and BOE will supply Apple with OLED displays that can be used for iPhone 14 from June. With a screen supply of 50 million, it will be used on the 6.1-inch version of the iPhone 14.
This year, Apple's iPhone 14 series will have four models of iPhone 14, 14 Max, 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max, with screen sizes of 6.1 inches, 6.7 inches, 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches respectively. Both Pro models will continue to use ltpo OLED screens with support for 120Hz adaptive refresh rates, exclusively supplied by Samsung. The two Standard Editions will use the regular LTPS OLED panel, which only supports a 60Hz refresh rate, and is supplied by BOE and LG.
It is understood that last year, the screen of the iPhone 13 series was completely provided by Samsung and LG, of which Samsung supplied 77 million copies, accounting for 73%; LG supplied 29 million pieces, accounting for 27%. BOE also supplied Apple with a large number of OLED screens, but only for after-sales replacement and repair. Therefore, everyone will not directly buy the iPhone 13 equipped with the BOE screen, if you go to the after-sales screen, it is very likely to be replaced by the BOE screen.
BOE OLED screen can be directly used in Apple's new body this time, it can be seen that the screen quality fully meets Apple's standard requirements, compared with Samsung, LG will not have much gap. This reflects from the side that the domestic screen technology has reached the first-class level. In the future, with the price advantage, BOE's supply on Apple's side may continue to climb.

Huawei Mate digital series has become a benchmark for domestic high-end flagship models, and when many consumers looked forward to the Huawei Mate 50 series last year, they did not expect that the series of products accidentally jumped tickets. Today, Google released the first Beta version of Android 13 for supported Pixel devices. @Mishaal Rahman of Esper.io later tweeted that by digging deeper into the code, he found that the Pixel 6 Pro would get audio capabilities similar to Apple's Spatial Sound.
Rahman said that Android 13 Beta 1 has added a new sound field localization effect, although it is not fully enabled. It is reported that this function is adjusted through the software, adding more dimensions to what is listened to through the headset. A shared library of this feature was found in the "soundfx" folder, suggesting that when the public version of Android 13 officially begins later this year, the feature may land on Google Pixel Buds.
It's not known if the feature will support the Pixel 6, or even older Pixel devices, but if it comes true, it will help Google better compete with Apple in high-end audio devices, and such a move should also prompt Google to consider releasing a competitor to airPods Max.
