The meeting pointed out that the situation of air pollution prevention and control in the city is still very severe, especially pollution such as open burning straw soot and construction dust is still prominent, reflecting that all departments at all levels have not paid enough attention to the prevention and control of air pollution, the responsibility has not been fully compacted, and the measures are not in place.
The meeting demanded that all departments at all levels should fully understand the current severe situation of air pollution control, accurately exert efforts, and make every effort to promote the implementation of various goals and tasks for air pollution prevention and control; they must strictly guard against death and resolutely win the battle against air pollution. It is necessary to further implement the main responsibilities of counties and districts, increase the intensity of supervision and rectification, and strengthen the linkage of work; we must resolutely put an end to such unrealistic styles as large-scale transformation, only talking and not doing, detouring, and being afraid of gnawing bones. We must comprehensively mobilize and deploy, carry out in-depth propaganda and training activities, and make improving the quality of the atmospheric environment a conscious action of the people; we must really tackle the implementation, face the contradictions and problems to the end, and prevent the problems from rebounding; we must strictly enforce work discipline, strengthen supervision and inspection in various forms and means, and ensure that all work is in place; we must strengthen law enforcement supervision, adhere to strict management and heavy punishment, and continue to vigorously crack down on illegal acts that pollute the ecological environment with a zero-tolerance attitude, so as to truly let supervision and law enforcement grow "fangs" and form a deterrent.
