Recently, it was learned from the official of Jietu Automobile that the new Jietu X70S will open pre-sale on April 29. As a mid-term redesign, the new Jietu X70S is equipped with the latest family design, and the configuration has also been optimized and improved. A new powertrain has also been introduced in terms of power.
In terms of appearance, the whole vehicle adopts a design language inspired by Huipai architecture. The stout chrome trim outlines a larger mid-mesh grid than before the redesign, and the headlights on both sides are combined with the mid-mesh by chrome trim to form an integrated shape. The front bracket adopts a sporty design, and the two sides are equipped with a four-point array fog light design, which has a high degree of recognition. The side body lines are still smooth, and with the 20-inch size of the five-spoke wheels, it is very much in line with the young consumer's pursuit of sports. Also highlighting the sport is the exhaust system with a total of four exhaust systems on both sides of the rear, and the large-caliber exhaust pipe makes the rear look powerful and domineering.
In terms of interior, the 12.3-inch full LCD dashboard with the 10.25-inch floating central control screen exudes a sense of technology, and the air conditioner outlet of the through-design extends the visual width of the vehicle interior. In terms of configuration, mobile phone interconnection, keyless start, mobile phone remote control, etc. are readily available, which can meet the needs of navigation, voice control and audio and video entertainment in daily use, while 360-degree panoramic images, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring and other configurations enhance the active safety of the new Jietu X70S.
In terms of space, the new Jietu X70S has a three-dimensional size of 4749*1900*1720mm and a wheelbase of 2745mm. Similar to before the redesign, the new Jetway X70S offers two seating layouts: 5-seater and 7-seater. Panoramic sunroofs, N95 air conditioning filters as standard throughout the series, and heated ventilation in the front seats enhance comfort.
In terms of power, the new Jietu X70S adds a 1.6T turbocharged direct-injection engine to match the power configuration of the 7-speed automatic transmission on the basis of the original 1.5T with a 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission, which can provide a maximum power of 145kW and a peak torque of 290Nm.
