Yang Zirong and Zashan eagle

First, let's introduce the two protagonists of this article: Yang Zirong and Zashan Eagle. The two men were so famous that even the Chinese Communist Party News Network recorded their lives.

Yang Zirong, formerly known as Yang Zonggui, was born in 1917 to a poor peasant family in Muping County, Shandong Province. At the age of 13, he broke into the Kanto with his parents, successively worked as a boatman on the Yalu River, and worked as a miner in Anshan and Liaoyang, so he had some understanding of the three religions and nine streams in the northeast, customs and people's feelings, and gangsterism. In the spring of 1943, he was forced to run back to his hometown in Shandong because of his rebellion against the Japanese foreman. In 1945, he joined the Eighth Route Army. In October of the same year, he went to the northeast with the troops, and was assigned to a certain cooking squad of the 2nd Regiment of the Mudanjiang Military Region as a soldier, and was soon transferred to the combat squad as a squad leader. He joined the Communist Party of China in January 1946. Because of his outstanding performance in battle, Ronglite was awarded the rank of combat hero by the regiment, and later promoted to reconnaissance platoon leader.

"Mountain Carving" real name Zhang Leshan, originally from Changwei, Shandong, with his cousin to Mudanjiang at the age of two, entered the mountain as a bandit at the age of 15, became a bandit at the age of 18, and had a bandit career of more than 50 years, going through the three periods of the late Qing Dynasty, the Beiyang warlord, and the puppet Manchu. This man is scheming and scheming, and has a reputation among bandits, and is known as the "Third Master" by insiders. At that time, Zhang Zuolin and the Japanese army had tried to eliminate him, but they did not succeed. After Japan surrendered, he accepted the appointment of the Kuomintang and became the "commander of the second detachment of the second column of the Kuomintang Northeast Advance Army".

It turned out that there were only more than 20 people under the mountain carving

Regarding the scale of the "Battle of Weihu Mountain", Xu Ke's film interpreted it as an "anti-bandit drama" in which the PLA squad of more than 20 people annihilated the Thousand People's Gang of Mountain Eagles, so fierce that even heavy weapons such as tanks were used; the scale of the novel "Lin Hai Snow Field" decreased slightly, and there were about 200 people under the mountain eagles; and in real history, Yang Zirong only brought 5 people, and the mountain eagles were only about 20 people.

The Chinese Communist Party News Network records this:

On January 26, 1947, the fifth day of the first lunar month, Yang Zirong and his party of 6 people received the order and immediately set out to the depths of the dense forest north of Hailin.

They walked around the old forest for several days before they found a shed in a place called Toad Pond. There were more than a dozen people living in the shed, looking like lumberjacks. Yang Zirong first used bandit gestures and black words to test, meaning that he was in distress, desperate, wanted to ask someone to help lead the way, and ran to a mountain. At first, no one cared, but later, a foreman who claimed to be surnamed Meng took a ride and promised to take them to a place. He first took out a saw, an axe, a small shovel, and a small iron bucket containing half a bucket of brown rice noodles from the house, handed them to Yang Zirong and the others, and then took them to an empty wooden shed 20 miles away, said a few words, and then left.

Yang Zirong waited in the shed for two or three days in a row, and did not see the shadow of The Foreman Meng, and the only little bit of brown rice noodles was also eaten, and he could not help but feel a little anxious in his heart, worried about whether there was any change in the situation. When he was in a hurry, The Foreman Meng returned, and this time he led Yang Zirong alone to a nearby Tunzi and met two people at the tunchang's house. The two first tried to make a black talk of the bandits, and saw Yang Zirong's answers like a stream, and then revealed their true identities. One who claimed to be surnamed Liu was an aide-de-camp of the "Mountain Eagle" and the other was called the company commander, and the two agreed to introduce Yang Zirong and others to the mountain, and said that they would go down the mountain to do some wine and meat, prepare to spend the Lantern Festival on the mountain, and wait for the "Third Master" to report to them, and then pick them up on the mountain to join the company.

Two days later, the two came to Yang Zirong's shed as promised. Yang Zirong asked the warriors to tie up the two bandits, and pretended to explain: Now I don't know if it is my own people, so I have to grievance first and go to the mountain. The two bandits felt that they would meet and know when they reached the mountain, and they didn't care too much, so they led Yang Zirong and them straight to the "Weihu Mountain".

The "mountain eagle" is indeed cunning enough, there are three checkpoints along the way, if a large army was sent to clear the siege, no matter which checkpoint was alarmed, the bandits could escape without a trace. Every time Yang Zirong passed through a checkpoint, two bandits came forward to talk, and then tied up the sentry and escorted them up the mountain together. Not far from the third checkpoint, you will arrive at the old nest of the "mountain carving", a wooden shed known locally as the "horse frame house".

Yang Zirong ordered three warriors to watch the bandits outside, and he led the other two warriors to rush into the shed, each occupying a favorable position, and the muzzle of the gun was aimed at the bandit. There were 7 bandits in the shed, one of whom was a skinny old man with white hair, a black face, a hooked nose and a goatee, and a notorious "mountain eagle". Yang Zirong ordered the warriors to tie up the "mountain carving" along with several other bandits.

This time the bandits were a complete victory, and without spending a single shot, they took the bandits' old nests and captured the sinister and cunning "mountain eagles" and 13 bandits alive.

The news that Yang Zirong had captured the "mountain eagle" alive quickly spread throughout Hailin Town, and the local people were all overjoyed and rushed to tell each other. The Northeast Daily reported on the title of "Fighting Model Yang Zirong and Others Capture the First Mountain Sculpture of bandits alive," saying that the battle against bandits "created more examples with fewer victories." The regiment also held a celebration meeting to record yang zirong's merits, and other soldiers also recorded their merits.

The mountain eagle originally had only a dozen people under his command. However, in another article in the "Chinese Communist Party News Network", "Yang Zirong, the protagonist prototype of "Outwitting the Tiger Mountain"", the battle record became "in one fell swoop, the 'Mountain Eagle' and its liaison director Liu Zhaocheng, secretary Li Yitang and other 25 bandits were captured alive."

In any case, there were only more than twenty people under the mountain eagle at most. Compared with Yang Zirong's 6 people, this is of course a lot of victory with less.

"Wise Tiger Mountain" is exaggerated, but in real history, Yang Zirong does have a legendary performance comparable to a divine drama. In the battle against the bandits at the bottom of the apricot tree, Yang Zirong once created a miracle of persuading 400 bandits to surrender alone.

"Wise Tiger Mountain" In the same month, Yang Zirong was sacrificed

Yang Zirong in the movie is naturally heroic and invincible, full of revolutionary romanticism, and the bullets that can kill seem to have not been made. But the real war is cruel, only 16 days after the "wisdom of the Tiger Mountain", but also in February 1947, Comrade Yang Zirong died, only 30 years old, and the reason for the sacrifice was because the trigger of the gun accidentally failed.

The April 12, 2004 article "A Moment of Yang Zirong's Sacrifice" writes the sacrifice process very clearly:

On the night of February 23, 1947, Yang Zirong was ordered to lead Sun Dade, Wei Chengyou and five other scouts to the area around Lishugou in the north of Hailin County at that time to reconnoiter the bandits. Deep in the mountains, they spotted a spark flickering and approached a shack known locally as the "horse rack." Through reconnaissance and analysis, Yang Zirong realized that this was a stronghold of a remnant bandit. He decisively ordered Sun Dade and the others to tear off the fur from their fur coats and wrap them around their feet to alleviate the sound of stepping on the snow.

When they surrounded the "horse frame" in a fan-shaped queue, the door of the "horse shelf" suddenly opened, and by the faint light in the snow, Yang Zirong found that a person with a gun came out to disarm, and the action was very alert. Just as the man turned and walked back to the "horse frame," Yang Zirong used a gesture to instruct several scouts to guard the side of the "horse frame." He suddenly got up, went down the slope, rushed to the front of the "horse frame," kicked the door open with one foot, and shouted: "Up." He cleverly used a large tree next to the "horse frame" as a "cover" and aimed the muzzle of the gun at the sleeping bandits.

Everything happens in an instant. The enemy bandit Liu Weizhang and others in the "horse frame" woke up from their sleep, and before they could understand what had happened, Yang Zirong pulled the trigger. However, the gun did not sound for a long time. At this time, a bullet came from the front of Yang Zirong's side, right in the middle of Yang Zirong's left chest. The group of bandits who were relieved of their minds shot out frantically from the "horse rack", and the door was sealed by the tongue of fire. Yang Zirong understood that the time for a decisive battle had arrived, and he took a few steps back and issued the last order to the scout with the greatest strength: "Lian wo duan!" Hurry up and end the battle! As soon as he finished speaking, he collapsed in a pool of blood.

Scout Wei Chengyou jumped on top of the "horse rack" in a few steps, pulled out two grenades from his waist, and threw them down the "horse rack" pipe. Then the trend rolled from the top to the snow. With a loud "bang", the "horse shelf" suddenly became a tomb, and 6 enemy bandits flew flesh and blood.

A small battle ended like this, however, it is a pity that the reconnaissance hero Yang Zirong accidentally failed due to the trigger of the gun, and was hit by the evil bullet of the enemy bandit, which became a regret for the hero forever!
