The building, called DONUM HOME, is located in a winery in California and was designed by David Thulstrup. This winery houses a large collection of contemporary art and Pinot Noir wines. The building serves as the winery's reception center, and the designers have chosen a unique Danish style and added local materials to pay homage to the California landscape.
In the space, large floor-to-ceiling windows provide plenty of light for the interior, creating a bright visual experience. Sunlight from the window falls on the screen through the window, adding warmth to the space. The choice of rattan material gives the space a natural atmosphere, and it is most suitable to sit on a wooden chair and enjoy the scenery and chat at this time.
The designer chose the log as the main material of the space, and the overall tone is harmonious and unified. The long table made of log is simple in shape, and the delicate texture shows a different natural beauty. The decorative plants on the tabletop enhance the overall texture of the space and create a refined and minimalist atmosphere of the space.
The expanded foyer fills the space with light from outside the window, and Scandinavians cherish the light and pay attention to how it changes throughout the day. The plants outside the window are full of life, making it feel like you are in nature when you are indoors.

David Thulstrup is an architectural designer from Denmark. In 2009, he created his own design studio in Copenhagen.
