Scenic spot glass facilities products have become the "net red punch card project" of major tourist attractions because of its risk, beauty, novelty and thrilling sense. So far, nearly 3,000 similar projects have been put into operation across the country, becoming the "preferred project" for scenic spots to attract passenger flow and generate income benefits. In view of the certain risks of scenic glass facilities themselves, the relevant standard technical requirements:
I. Technical Standard for Pedestrian Glass Suspension Bridges and Glass Boardwalks in Scenic Spots DB13(J)/T 264-2018
Issued by the Hebei Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, Hebei Provincial Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau, Hebei Provincial Tourism Development Commission, Hebei Provincial Work Safety Supervision and Administration Bureau. This standard applies to design, construction, testing and evaluation, operation and safety management.
2. "Scenic Glass Boardwalk Construction Standard" T/CNPA 01-2021
It was released by the China Association of Scenic Areas on July 8, 2021 and implemented on August 9, 2021. This standard is applicable to the survey, design, construction and acceptance, testing and evaluation, operation and maintenance and management, and safety annual inspection of scenic glass boardwalks with steel structure and concrete structure as the support system.
Third, "Glass water slide safety technical requirements" GB/T 41121-2021
The Standardization Administration of the People's Republic of China approved the promulgation of GB/T 41121-2021 "Technical Requirements for Safety of Glass Water Slides", which will be officially implemented from July 1 this year.
IV. "Requirements for the Capacity and Condition of Construction Units of Scenic Glass Amusement and Viewing Facilities" (T/CMES 37002-2022)
It is proposed and organized by the Amusement Machinery Engineering Branch of the China Mechanical Engineering Society according to the actual development needs of the industry, led by the China Special Equipment Testing and Research Institute, and jointly developed by the technical advantages of the scenic spot glass facilities industry. The standard stipulates the general requirements for the design, manufacture and installation of glass facilities in scenic spots, as well as the resource conditions and quality assurance system requirements for their personnel, workplaces, instruments and equipment, and the construction of "factory manufacturing + on-site assembly".
