There are many ways to protect the environment, such as green travel, reducing resource waste, saving water and electricity, etc., and everyone can contribute to environmental protection.
In the field of professional design, we always practice the concept of green development and serve the brand with green design thinking. Jiajian Geometry and smart home leader Levant Lefan have created a new type of packaging focusing on pets, creating a new form of green environmental protection for home appliance packaging, and won two international design awards of iF and MUSE.

As a pet-focused home appliance packaging, Lefant hopes to be associated with pets, based on this demand, we first defined this packaging: on the basis of packaging and sale, pet elements, market integration, and consumers to establish an emotional connection.
Considering that the traditional home appliance packaging is not only a large number of consumables and a large body, most people will lose the packaging after taking out the product, which not only causes a serious waste of resources, but also causes great pollution to the environment. After doing a lot of research and research, we found that materials and their products are the main causes of energy shortage, excessive consumption of resources and even depletion and environmental pollution.
We can't reduce the size of the package, but we can change this situation through design, assume more social responsibility, so that this package "takes the forest, use it for the family", so that after it leaves the product, it can also be integrated into the family environment as an ornament alone, and used by people and pets, in a recycling way to continue the life cycle of the packaging and reduce waste.
With "green environmental protection", "sustainable" and "pet" as the starting point, we implement these three core elements through our design language from the structure of the inner and outer boxes, visual design to the materials, improve the reuse rate of packaging, and thus contribute to the protection of the environment.
In order to maintain the integrity of the packaging, the outer box is formed in one piece, and the way of wrapping inside and outside plays a good role in protecting the integrity of the product and the packaging. Except for the handle, the material is composed of corrugated paper, and there is no glue paste, which greatly reduces the waste of consumables.
Visually extracted the brand color blue of Lefant Lefan as the main color, increasing brand identity, combining white to create a blue-white gradient, the overall visual feeling echoes with the atmosphere of a clean home environment.
As a packaging for pets, we hope that it can return to the use of "home", reflected in the internal spatial structure, and can be combined with the form of the product.
Therefore, the inner box composed of corrugated paper can not only wrap the product and other components intact, when the product is taken out, the 6 plate combination can be SPLICed into a cat nest through DIY to create a new home for the pet, and at the same time, it can also be spliced into shelves, shoe boxes, dirty clothes baskets and other forms, which is better used for home life and adds interesting atmosphere to life.
"Considering that if the DIY splicing process is too complicated, it will reduce the consumer's desire to do it, in order to make the entire DIY process more simple and easy to operate, we have done hundreds of stitching tests and equipped with detailed instructions for reference."
We don't want this to be just a "design gimmick" with environmental protection, but let it be put into practice, in the form of cat beds, shelves, shoe boxes and other practical forms in people's homes. ”
Due to factors such as overuse of resources, environmental pollution, habitat destruction, etc., the number of endangered species around the world is on the rise, and our understanding of them can only be searched online, and every image they leave behind is valuable.
Therefore, in the element of "pet", we selected five well-known endangered animals: Chinese pangolin, Indian Ganga crocodile, Javan rhinoceros, snow leopard, Yangtze River porpoise as the main characters of each space in the inner box, conveying the concept of environmental protection through simple and straightforward pictures, hoping to arouse people's awareness of environmental protection and not let these endangered animals only live in search.
"In the illustration design, we use the popular vector flat wind, black and white endangered animals to contrast the color of the natural environment. Black and white represent death in a sense, intuitively mapping the deteriorating status quo of endangered animals due to the abandonment of a large number of packages, reminding people that they are disappearing.
At the same time, it also plays a certain role in family education in the home scene, so that children have a more intuitive understanding of endangered animals and their relationship with environmental degradation, and jointly arouse the environmental awareness of parents and children. ”
