Crystal Fish 2022
On 23 April, the Civil Defence Structure held a field typhoon exercise code-named "Crystal Fish 2022" to simulate macau's head-on blowing from typhoon Crystal Fish 2022, severe flooding in low-lying areas due to the impact of storm surges, and accidents during various types of typhoons.
The exercise enhanced the communication and linkage capabilities among the members of the Civil Defence Structure, and at the same time enhanced the public's familiarity with the Evacuation Plan for Low-Lying Areas during Typhoon Surge in preparation for the onset of the wind season.
The exercises were conducted in Macau, Taipa and parts of Coloane, so let's take a look at the various sessions!
The work of the Civil Defence Operations Centre
Carry out safe and orderly evacuation and screening
Municipal Affairs Department personnel dredged the street canal in the Street of Sha Li Tau near the Avenida of Damei Diao Shi Na Di

Macao Tap Water installed watertight gates or flood gates at the entrances and exits of important production facilities of various water plants, and followed the guidelines of the Health Bureau to wear personal protective equipment and enter the simulated isolation hotel area to deal with throat bursting accidents
Austec personnel installed and tested the waterproof gate in the transformer room
The personnel of the Meteorological Bureau closely monitor and comprehensively determine the impact of tropical cyclones on Macao and inform the relevant units of the latest situation
