On Sunday, Artists Firm Sway announced that its voice actress Yurika Endo will retire from all entertainment work, including voice actress and singing, by the end of May 2018.
Yurika Endo also apologized on Swaylow's website for the sudden announcement of retirement. She explained that as circumstances changed, her health deteriorated over the five years of her dream career. She felt that she could not exert "120%" of her strength as she thought, and after many discussions with many people, she decided to retire.
Swallow said the firm is actively planning Endo's solo concert, which is expected to be at the end of May.
Yurika Endo was an avid singer in high school, especially anime songs, and she joined the music club as the lead singer. In 2012, when she was still in school, she signed up for the 6th All Japan Animation Singing Competition and appeared in the tiebreaker competition, and in the same year, she participated in the voice actor selection event hosted by Polly Jiayin, and was also awarded. Her first lead role in the anime was Z/X IGNITION, in which she voiced Mikage Ranna. She is in this year's animation "Angel's 3P! " voiced by Himami Momibaya.
