So, compared to digital reading, has traditional paper reading been completely obsolete?

The "Report" shows that in terms of user scale, the scale of digital reading users in 2021 is 506 million, of which post-95 users account for more than 70%. 5G, VR technology, cloud reading has gradually made digital reading move from "virtual" to "real". This solid sense of ownership is something that digital reading cannot easily replace at present. After all, paper reading has a thousand-year-old "tradition" that is almost engraved in people's genes. Despite the popularity and diversity of digital reading forms, people will still not give up paper reading.
It can be seen that although digital reading has brought competition and pressure to traditional paper reading, it cannot be completely replaced. The development of science and technology only changes the way information and knowledge are disseminated, and the essence of reading this matter will not change because of this.
No matter how hot e-books are, no matter how many reading platforms there are, the enthusiasm of paper readers will not disappear. To argue about who is the dominant way of reading is to ignore the essence of reading. In the era of information explosion and content is king, what can really make people think is still content. Whether the carrier is paper or digital is no longer important in the face of content.
