At the event site, 19 award-winning books and 51 recommended books such as "Xu Yuanchong's Hundred-year-old Self-Description", "Journey on the Back of the Moon: The Chinese Lunar Exploration National Team Recorded the Whole Process of Human Landing on the Far Side of the Moon for the First Time" and "Footprints" were unveiled at the 17th Wenjin Book Award.
The poetry recitation "How the Ancients Read" brought by the Capital Children's Recitation Art Troupe kicked off the event. On April 23, coinciding with the seventh anniversary of the launch of the Guotu Open Class, in the "Guotu Open Class, Mr. Wang's Study", Liu Jiaqi, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and final judge of the Wenjin Book Award, and Zhan Furui, former director of the National Library of China, dean of the School of Chinese and Chinese Literature of Beijing Foreign Chinese University, and winner of the Wenjin Book Award, respectively gave keynote speeches on "Shu Tong Er Unitary, Learning Rich Five Cars" and "Reading Li Bai" to share reading feelings and thinking on governance.
