After arriving in the village, after several inquiries, my fellow teachers and I found Fanfan's home. The first time I saw him was in the courtyard of his house, he was in a wheelchair, his whole body including his neck was reclining in the wheelchair, it could be seen that his spine was difficult to support his body, and the excessive muscle tension caused his legs to stiffen and unable to walk independently. He saw us, listened to our self-introduction, flashed a glint of joy in his eyes, opened his mouth with a slightly crooked grin, and vaguely called out "Teacher".
Since that day, I have had a new student (after verification, combined with the actual situation of the family, it was decided to send him to the school). After returning to school, I developed a rehabilitation training plan for him according to his situation, starting from training physical balance ability, starting from exercise, enhancing leg and body strength, and then training coordination ability, hand-eye coordination, hand- and leg, body coordination; and then training pronunciation, attention, fine motor, comprehension ability, cognitive ability, etc. Every time I send a lesson, I carefully prepare the lesson in advance, prepare the teaching aids, and after the class, he will take out his small school bag, take out the storybook I gave him, look at me expectantly with a pair of shy eyes, and let me tell him a story.
During a send-off, Fan Fan expressed the idea of wanting to go to school to see. November 4, 2020, is destined to be an unforgettable day for Sail. It was cold that day, the wind was particularly strong, Sail accompanied by his parents and father, for the first time came to the school of his heart, I pushed a wheelchair, let him visit the corners and corners of the school, and let him sit in the first class of his life sitting in the classroom with the support of his mother, and the child's happiness is still fresh in my memory. In the future, the time of each teaching has become the thing he is most looking forward to. In addition to sending knowledge, we also teach parents some rehabilitation knowledge and skills, send some of the latest policies, bring children a little gift, and send them warmth. Gradually, the smile on his face was more, the words were more, and he was very willing to cooperate with the teacher, and sometimes even when we just arrived home and said hello to our parents, or grandparents, he was anxious to let him hurry to class, and his parents were more harmonious because of his change in family relations.
In three years, the white colt passed the gap. The sending of sails lasted for three years (and is still sent now), and the little boy of the past is now grown! Every time I send a lesson, it has also become the most beautiful time for me to teach and educate people: the moment when I watched him bow his head and scribble with the pen; the moment when I listened to him babbling and saying the pronunciation of each new word; the moment when I admired the moment when he wore a string of beads that could not be easier in the eyes of ordinary people... How can such a meaningful moment not be the most beautiful time!
